I really didn't wanna take him cause I knew how he Really hated Rogues & I was afraid he might reject Darcy or Rio cause of that & hurt him for all the wrong reasons, I didn't wanna see Rio or Darcy hurt, I, Trixie, Jo-Jo & Jasper would NEVER for give Alex for that.. as I got Cindy to take me with her I go up stairs with Darcy's shirt & sleep with it. Well........... okay other stuff & then sleep..

As time was lagged on I grew very impatient I wanted to go now, But Jasper kept teasing me about Darcy, He kept laughing at my misery & my suffering..

I dodge & weave threw the trees trying my best not to fall, I look behind me & I see Alpha but he isn't running very fast, I don't hesitate & keep running, soon I don't see him behind me so I slow down & stopped at a creek to drink to rehydrate myself..

I bowed my head AH! f**k! I perk my ears up when I heard everyone howl, & I mean Everywhere I heard howling.

I am so dead!!!

I take off running to the lake maybe I can swim across it & stay for a couple of hours & then make my way back to the palace & back to my room..

Once I got to the lake I see some wolves', I knew it was the Gamma's. Ike & Jane They were gray with black tint they were smelling for me, I dove into a citronella bush to try & Disguise my scent.... I do admit this bush did smelled pretty good, it must of worked they could not fine me, I shifted to my human self real quick & threw a rock in a different direction to get there attention, it worked & they took off after the noise, after they were gone for about 5 minutes.

I took off running to the lake & dove in, & swam as fast as I could. I got to the other side & was dead exhausted, I slowly crawled out of the water & collapsed to the ground breathing hard.. I shifted into my wolf & took off again back tracking to the palace dodging wolves left & right. I think to myself dumb wolves, memo to self train them harder..

I get to the opening where the palace is at, Damn it! I see not just the Deltas' but the Gammas' & some of our top warriors, I sat there watching & study there moves, & I notice a gap in patrol & got ready to bolt..

I focused on the timing.... and..... NOW! I run swiftly past the patrol & made it to the back door slamming into the door to open it, I kicked the door shut & shifted.

I saw I was by the laundry room, & shrugged my shoulders & told myself how lucky I was.. I grabbed a pair of shorts & a tank top & headed up to the 2nd floor to my room, avoiding the best I can the hot spots. Kitchen, living room, & dinner room. I fix my hair & smile Beta 1 Alpha 0.

As I climbed the stairs & got to my door & smirked telling myself next time alpha next time I got in & closed it just as I turned around I got pounced on & I felt sparks, I knew it was Jo.. my mate.. Ha! I knew you would come back here..

The weekend came & went so fast & now it was Monday..

Just after I said that a male dancer walked up to me & I smelled Pine & fresh rain with a hint of old spice my mouth watered.

My wolf Raul yelled MATE! MATE! in my head, he touched me & I felt sparks as he sat on my lap grinding his body on me, as he did that my d**k started to stand up to say hello..

I also smelled a putrid raunchy smell, but it wasn't strong, it smelled like it was fresh liked he just turned..

Then it dawned on me it was the rogue I missed, I got angry & stood up making my mate fall to the ground.

I heard the door open & heard my name being called.

I walked into the basement & saw Rio cold & shivering, Rio?

I get down on my hands & knees & hugged him while crying, I am so so so sorry I told him.

If I knew he would of done this, I would of told you to run..

I handed Rio a fleece blanket & some food & somethign to drink.

Rio told me that I shouldn't be here, & if the King finds out he would be livid. he told me to please go & that he would be fine.. I hugged him as he hugged me back I told him not to worry that Jasper took King Alex for a run to see what the hell was wrong with him. Jasper is mad cause he did this too & he wanted answers.

Rio? you did nothing wrong & never got into trouble..

I told Rio what Jasper told me about the Rogue attack & they killed many pack members from his grandparents to warriors & even pups etc..

I hear Rio whimper in sadness, he looked up at me with tears in his eyes & told me that he didn't do that tho, my parents taught me to respect others.

I see him start to cry harder I try to comfort him but he just laid down in a ball form & bawled himself to sleep as I petted his head. once he was asleep I got up & headed out I had to get out of there I could not see Rio a strong Beta being weak when I know he is a strong person & very protective. Now its my turn to be the strong one for Rio's sake..

But Alpha Alex If I recall you saying you didn't care WHO your mate was that you would accecpt him or her.

But yet you threw your mate in the basement...

I will not be suprise once he turns 18 he would reject your ass!!!

I stop running & took a deep sigh & put my head down, ( thinking: Should I trust him? Will my ancestors be mad at me? Would me grandparents be mad at me? )

I groan in agony on what's right & what to do? He is my mate.. I guess I am going to half to trust him..

I turned around & took a heavy sigh, & looked up at Jasper & told him fine you win this time..

This sucks I never thought Rio could get depressed, he was always smiling, Laughing & making people happy where ever he goes.
