Chapter 11Dylan was finishing up his assignment on a Saturday when he received an email from the company, he had been assigned to investigate Rita and his mother a few days before.
He was supposed to meet the boss at Heritage Club in two hours because there was an emergency, according to the email. When he went there for his case, he was surprised that they didn't bill him but instead told him that they would get back to him after making a few inquiries.
He was about to meet the boss. Was all of this to imply that his case was a little complicated, or what? He planned to find out later when he went there. He finished his assignment and began preparing for his appointment.
