Chapter 18She was exhausted after surveying the entire island's operations; it had been a day since they arrived, and Dylan was with his mother. Everything was going so well when she wasn't there, so she was relieved; it would have been difficult if she had to handle everything.
"There is a video call for you, Mother," Anne told Violet.
"Who is it?" she asked before taking the tablet.
"It's uncle."
"All right, give me the tablet."
Anne handed her the tab, which she placed on her desk in front of her. Her older brother doesn't call very often. What was he doing now or what does he want from her?
"Why did you call?" she questioned, annoyance could be heard from her tone.
"You don't even know how to greet your brother?" the man was so angry hearing that disrespectful tone from Violet.
