"No, I'm not going to pick favorites," she said, and he smiled. She wasn't budging at all.
"Since we've finished with your hands, let's go inside," he said, leading her inside.
They went straight to the lounge where Anne and Taylor were having a good time. They were laughing so hard that Violet came to a halt and looked at them so intently that he cleared his throat to get their attention.
