CHAPTER FIFTEENMallory May 5, 2016 I walk along the path between the buildings, the sun beating down on me. I long to remove the cover from my head and face and let the sunlight hit my skin. I’ve just finished working with some young boys in the village. Today was difficult; they weren’t very focused on learning English. From what I can gather, it’s toward the end of a Muslim holiday or some day of celebration. It sounds like they are all leaving to go to a feast this evening in a different village. Confused by the different traditions and rituals practiced in this place, it’s hard to understand what’s really happening.
