Elara POV
Zeus and Zane rush into the bedroom door. I try to clear my mind of doubts. I don't want to give Zeus any ammo to start a fight. But he doesn't seem focused on me right now. "Where is Zeke?"
The doubts that I tried to keep at bay are flooding my mind. Zeus's eyes flicker to mine, and I know he can hear everything I am thinking. I speak before he has a chance to bring anything up. "I don't know where he is."
"We all need to be here." Zeus paces the floor. "Mind link him. My brain is too muddled to figure that out right now."
I swallow hard and shake my head. I have been trying to mind link Zeke all day. He has blocked me. I even resorted to sending him text messages, and he has left all of them on read. He both infuriates me and makes me want to cry.
