Gamma Austin happened to hear both parties throw insulting questions at each other from a distance, he ran as fast as he could. The security guards also heard the trifle, but they dare not leave their post to intervene in such matters, especially the one that concerns Asher.

My Lord, your uncle ordered that we bring her here, Austin said to Asher kneeling on one leg.

My Uncle? Asher frowned at Austin’s statement,

And it didn't come to your notice that I should be informed as well? Asher slowly turned to Austin as he asked with the corner of his lips slightly raised in a smirk.

My Lord, we only take orders from Alpha Bertram, he never instructed us to inform you. Austin responded with traces of mockery in his tone.

Why not call me by my name? Why call me Lord? Asher asked Austin with a dangerous smile on his face.

Austin is aware that his strength is nowhere compared to Asher’s so he kept quiet, he knew very well not to piss Asher off, or else he would face Asher's wrought, and not even Alpha Bertram can save him. Meanwhile, Asher has been waiting patiently for Austin to fall into his trap.

Take her away, Asher said to Austin.

Alpha Bertram asked that we take her to the room prepared for her, Austin replied

Whatever, Asher said and left like nothing happened.

Alicia who was burning with fury at Asher’s rude and disrespectful attitude became void of response,

He is not my mate, this is the worst impression ever, Alicia said and sighed holding her long silver hair in her hands as she stared at Asher’s perfectly structured retreating appearance

Austin turned to her saying, I will come back for you in thirty minutes.

Wait! Why was I kidn*pped? Alicia asked hoping she would get hints

Gamma Austin, who was about to take his leave, halted and turned to her.

Don't be in such haste my darling soon-to-be Luna, you will know when you meet with my Lord. Austin said

Oh, it turns out you know a lot about me. Alicia replied

Why would my Lord bring you here if he knows nothing about you? Of course, he does know a lot and so do I, Gamma Austin turned and left with a grin on his face.

Alicia wanted to say something but Austin gave her no room, she wanted to ask who Asher was since he wasn't involved in her kidnap

Wait a minute, what was that about? Why does that voice sound familiar? Alicia asked Luna.

She tried to remember but she began to feel darkness clouding her mind, the harder she tried, the more she felt this agonizing headache.

Alicia knelt immediately trying to put herself together to suppress the hurt from the headache.

I must have stressed my brain today. I have gone through a lot She thought.

Alicia was left alone in the magnificent hall. She met herself standing in the middle of a magnificent, breathtaking hall, the settings in the hall were screaming luxury, with furniture, paintings, and artifacts all looking like they were made of diamonds.

Is this the afterlife Dad talked about? Alicia asked herself,

But I am not dead, she said. She winced in pain as she pinched herself to be sure, she turned around to survey her surroundings in a daze,

A few minutes later, her sight caught a giant sitter, its beauty from a distance was undeniably attractive.

Alicia could not help but move closer, it's an actual throne, she mumbled, she was lost in her world of admiration as she climbed the sixth step.

She looked at the footstool of gold and stretched her arm intending to touch the armrests on each side of the seat with statues of two wolves standing beside the armrests speaking power, wealth, and authority. It could easily pass as a royal seat.

This does not look like the shape of a normal werewolf's head, she became curious as her instincts kicked in. There must be more to this, she said.

What could this pack possibly want from me? what pack are they exactly? how would a pack possess such immense wealth? Alicia asked herself these questions with no one to give answers to them.

What do you think you are doing? Beta Brayan’s deep voice resonated throughout the hall causing echo to repeat each word he said

Alicia missed her step before she could place her buts on the throne, she fell to the ceramic floor with a thud, she creamed and her face twitched in pain.

Asher rushed to the scene, a glint of horror plastered on his face seeing Alicia on the ground whining in pain but in seconds it couldn't be traced. He raised his head looking at Brayan like he would tear him apart.

Brayan stammered in fear, she wanted to sit on the Alpha’s throne when I came in, she missed her steps and fell, she has some guts, my Lord.

No, I didn't, Alicia defended

What was it that you were doing before you landed on the floor the moment you heard my voice? Brayan questioned Alicia aiming to implicate her.

Brayan diverted Asher’s attention to Alicia so he wouldn't be blamed. Asher rolled his eyes in a, did I ask for an explanation manner?

I was only admiring the throne, Alicia defended again.

Asher looked at Alicia with seriousness in his eyes. Their eyes met again.

Brayan rushed to Alicia, picked her up, and whispered close to her ears, you almost provoked the devil this time, pray you never fall into his trap, or else you will be meeting your ancestors before you even think of it, he warned, then led her to her room.

But before Brayan could take a step, Luna snapped into defensive mode. I am not going anywhere, she said, rooted to the spot. A heavy breeze followed suit and slapped Brayan’s face blowing his hair as well.

What the hell was that? Brayan wanted to raise his voice at her but stopped mid-way when he met her eyes, Alicia’s silver-colored Iris turned grim and scarier like some demonic devil possessed her.

Brian Stepped back unconsciously, his environment became oddly cold, and the aura she exuded was terrifying, almost at par with Asher’s.

The last time he remembered, he only asked that she follow him to her room, he didn't attack or scare her in any way possible.

Asher was right, her mood swing is something. Brayan said with his hands on his waist, he needed to find a way to appease her.

Why is she acting all defensive now, she should have done this before then we wouldn't be able to kidnap her. Brayan said inwardly.

Hey, you need to calm down, I am only taking you to your room, I promise I am not touching you in any way, you can't stay here, the servants have already prepared a beautiful room for you so you can rest for the day. Brayan said to Alicia, raising his two hands in assurance.

Hey, can you hear me? He called out clapping his hands to make her snap out of whatever she was in,

Alicia jolted as he came back to her senses, dizziness enveloped her and she fainted almost immediately.

Bryan didn't move close to Alica, he called the male servants instead to carry her to the room prepared for her.

Look! The first servant said to the other with disbelief

Lightning was oozing all around her this time.

Sir, she is defensive even in her unconscious state, I think we should let her be till she regains consciousness. The second male servant said to Bryan

Cowards, you can’t move close to this weakling? Bryan mocked them.

The servants stood a few meters away from Alicia, they had never seen such a scene and they were not sure of what awaited them if they touched her.

Move closer? Bryan yelled at the servants.

They fearfully went close to her.

Servant One said to Servant Two, Carry her from her hands,

Servant Two said to Servant One. no, when did you start giving orders, you carry from her hands and I carry her legs.

The servants turned clockwise and anti-clockwise, but they still couldn't touch her. This made Bryan fume with rage, he went close and kicked their butts away from Alicia.

A loud bang was heard and a part of the wall in the walkway shattered.
