My arms were wrapped around Mark's right arm as I held on to him. He gradually took my hands away from him and set them on the straps of my backpack. "You're a moving target," he said quietly as he slipped the bag away from my body. As his fingertips slid up my arms, they tingled. The bag landed gently on the grass. Mark snatched my hand in his and drew me into his embrace. We peered ahead at the colossal bear sniffing the ground and approaching closer and closer to us. I'd put a pot of honey in my backpack by accident. It wasn't by chance, either. Everyone loves honey... but I didn't realize that everyone included an 800lb bear. My hands clung to him once again.
