NARRATOR 'He looks at you gently, taking your chin in his hands.' LANCE 'You just said you're happily married, but I think we should prove it so that people can more understand it.' ANDREA (Is he trying to help me?) (How odd!) NARRATOR 'Then you realize he's just trying to prove your “perfect marriage” to everyone.' ANDREA (I need to play with him to get out of this!) ANDREA What should I do? Kiss him. { NARRATOR 'You place your hand over his, standing on tiptoe, and kiss him.' 'Lance freezes, seemingly not anticipating your move.' The atmosphere here is getting wet and…' ANDREA (Awkward!) MR.HAMILTON 'That's enough. Don't make a fool of yourself in public.' 'Go back to your room.' LEONIE 'Wait!' 'I agree with ANDREA's conditions! I have to frisk her!' NARRATOR 'Leonie looks at you in stubborn.' LEONIE 'If you're willing to be frisked and if they're not birth control pills.' 'I will apologize to you on f*******: and explain what happened on the stairs.' ANDREA (Urgh! This b***h!) 'Sorry, I'm not interested in that anymore.' 'As you see, my husband loves me and trusts me. That’s enough for me.' NARRATOR 'Leonie blushes with anger and gnashes her teeth.' LEONIE 'Why, are you guilty?' ANDREA 'I don't know why you're so determined to make this a big deal.' 'I said I have no interest.' LEONIE 'You are definitely afraid of being found out!' ANDREA 'Whatever you want to think.' NARRATOR 'Lance seizes your arm again.' 'You look at the hand on your arm and doubtfully locks eyes with Lance.' LANCE 'Let her frisk you.' NARRATOR 'You try to pull your arm away, but it’s in vain.' ANDREA (What’s the problem with him?) (He was on my side the last second, and the next second, he switches back to Leonie?) ANDREA I should say… What’s the problem with you? { ANDREA (I can understand this man.) LANCE 'Quiet, listen to me.' } No! { ANDREA (I shouldn't have believed him.) (He is definitely an asshole!) LANCE 'Quiet, listen to me.' } Lance, I thought you trusted me. { NARRATOR 'You pretend your grievance to him with tearing eyes.' LANCE 'Listen to me, baby.' } NARRATOR 'As Lance agrees, Leonie trots forward and dips her hand into your pocket without waiting for your consent.' 'The next second, Leonie appears a confused look, and she rechecks your pocket.' LEONIE 'Where is it?' NARRATOR 'Determined, Leonie reaches for the other pocket but finds nothing again.' LEONIE 'That's impossible!' 'I saw her took the pills from Charles!' ANDREA (What? Nothing?) (Where are my pills?) NARRATOR 'You check your pockets and find that there's really nothing inside.' 'You pretend to be calm on the surface, but inside you are full of doubts and panic.' ANDREA (It’s impossible. I did have it in my pocket. I even checked its existence when I got up from the fountain. No one can move it after that without getting attention, unless……) (The kiss.) NARRATOR 'You look at the man who is still holding your hand tightly. He is as cold as ever.' LANCE 'I want to see your apology on f*******: by tomorrow, Leonie.' LEONIE 'Lance, I saw Dr. Peters give her the birth control pills, and I saw her put them in her pocket.' 'I know they're there! Perhaps she's hidden them somewhere else!' NARRATOR 'Leonie reaches for your collar to search inside your clothes.' 'Lance's face darkens, and he turns around, blocking Leonie with his back.' 'He embraces you, shielding you with his body.' LANCE 'That's enough!' 'Go back to your room if you don't want to be thoroughly disgraced.' NARRATOR 'Startled by his tone, Leonie runs back to the house with her head lowered and eyes red.' MR.HAMILTON 'That’s it!' 'No one is allowed to talk about what has happened here in private or to speak to the press.' NARRATOR 'Mr. Francis Hamilton warns the servants before returning to the house.' 'The servants shuffle away in silence, and the garden becomes quiet. Only the splash of the fountain is sounding.' 'Your face is pressing against Lance's chest.' ANDREA I want to… Quit his arms. { ANDREA 'Thank you.' NARRATOR 'You quit his arms as you thank him.' } Keep this position. { NARRATOR 'You both stay still until you ask him the question.' ANDREA 'Why you help me?' LANCE 'I should protect my wife, isn’t it?' ANDREA 'You didn’t in the past three years.' LANCE 'Maybe I am regrated and trying to be a better husband.' ANDREA 'I’d be grateful weeks ago.' (Before I knew everything. Before I got disappointed in you.) NARRATOR 'His words make your eyes red, but you restrain the sentiment feeling in your heart.' LANCE 'What’s the difference now?' ANDREA 'Because I don’t love you now.' NARRATOR 'Lance tights his arms, and you can feel his determinant.' LANCE 'You loved me once. It won't be hard to make you fall into me again.' ANDREA 'It’s needless.' NARRATOR 'Lance doesn’t answer you but switches the subject.' } LANCE 'Did he touch you?' NARRATOR 'You both know the “he” is Charles.' ANDREA 'So, that’s the real reason you help me? Jealousy? Try to evident you are a better man?' LANCE 'Just answer me.' ANDREA I should say… Charles is a perfect lover. { LANCE 'Watch out for these beautiful lips. They are saying things I hate.' NARRATOR 'Lance’s fingers caress your rosy lips in gentle, but you can tell the dangerous signal from him.' ANDREA (It’s not wise that irritates him now.) 'He is a rich bachelor, good enough for every single woman.' NARRATOR 'You accentuate the word “single.”' LANCE 'Smart girl.' } There is nothing between us. { LANCE 'Is that so? Do you think I’d believe you?' ANDREA 'I don’t care.' NARRATOR 'As though you are being rebelled, he is pleased by your words.' } LANCE 'I warn you not to get too close to him, otherwise……' NARRATOR 'His unfinished sentence is full of menace.' 'It can help Mrs. Hamilton prepare for pregnancy.' NARRATOR 'Lance is contemplating, not knowing he is listening or not.' LANCE 'Is Dr. Walter still here?' ROBERT 'He left just now.' 'Shall I get him to come back?' NARRATOR 'Lance nods.' LANCE 'Besides, contact the director of St. Peters Hospital to arrange for a medical examination for ANDREA tomorrow.' NARRATOR 'Robert nods and leaves.' 'Lance sits alone in this room. Then he pulls a small brown bottle out of his pocket and squeezes it with his fingers' 'There is a basso.relievo logo used by the Peters on the brown glass.' 'Lance uncaps the bottle and pours out all the pills inside, leaving only one on the table and throwing the rest in the trash, then puts the Folic Acid tablets in the bottle.' 'Minutes later, Dr. Walter comes in.' DAVID WALTER 'What can I do for you, Mr. Hamilton?' NARRATOR 'Lance hands a tablet to Dr. Walter.' LANCE 'Test it.' 'I want to know exactly what it is within three days.' DAVID WALTER 'Yes, sir.' } NO [INT. MCBEDROOM.NIGHT] NARRATOR 'You jump on the bed after taking a hot bath.' 'A thought streaks through your mind one second before you almost fall asleep.' ANDREA (I forgot to ask about my pills!) (I need to get them back!) NARRATOR 'You are contemplating the situation as Lance walks in.' ANDREA I should… Not talk to him. { NARRATOR 'You close your eyes, pretending you are asleep.' ANDREA (I have not got an idea yet.)
