Chapter 4

Iris was in her chambers when Callidora knocked on her door. "Iris!". Iris was sitting on her bed, writing. " Yes Grandma?". She put down her notebook and opened the door. "Sweetie," "Yes?" "I have a question for you my dear" said Callidora. "What is it?". Callidora started walking and Iris followed. " You like Jake?" Iris exclaimed, "Eh?!" Callidora chuckled, "Do you?" "Where'd you hear that?" Iris blushed. "I mean, maybe.." Callidora laughed, "Oh young love." "Grandmother!". Together they walked, Iris passed by Jake, who caught her looking at him. Iris looked away quickly, blushing. " I don't like him, no why would I?" "Sometimes, you don't understand the reason why you like someone, you just do." said Callidora. Iris looked down and thought about what Callidora had said. maybe I do like him Iris thought. "You wanna know about your mother and your father?" Iris snapped back and nodded yes. Callidora brought her to the Ivory History. "Who are all these people?" asked Iris. "These people are the ones that lived in The Ivory Fields." "But my father isn't here though" Callidora clicked on what sort of a crystal ball that showed the past. "Your mother's demon memories are sealed here." Callidora said. "eventhough your mom lived in Earth, she remembers her memories in here and placed them in this crystal ball called The Star Garnet. Everyone who ever lived in Ivory Fields has sealed their memories here, including the first ever ruler of Ivory Fields. When you touch the ball, you'll see everything your mom saw in earth and in here." Callidora touched the magic ball gently. The ball showed Iris' mom's memories. Her mom was a warrior. With powers no one has ever seen, it's natural that Iris would inherit her mother's powers and become powerful. "That's my dad, " She said. The ball showed her mom pretending to be a human. "Love at first sight?". She continued to watch. Her mother fell in love with a human, and when Sallmozin heard about this, the head warrior, he had exiled her mother, but her memories could be kept inside this ball so that her daughter, the future crowned princess would be able to know her mom's past.And the ball turned back to normal as it was the end of her mom's past. " My mom was a powerful warrior? Sent to Earth to kill humans?" Iris was shocked to see about this. "See Iris? Your mother was a powerful demon warrior, and you inherited her powers. You might haven't reached your full potential yet, but you will, with the help of your friends." Callidora said. "And obstacles may come to you as you're the one holding Pirry. But you must be strong and be able to overcome those obstacles. You'll find love because of it too" Iris nodded. "Can I come here often to see the memories of other people I want to know?" Callidora said "Yes, you can". Iris thanked her grandmother and walked outside to train once again.

"Iris!" A voice called out her name. She turned back, "Iris? What's wrong?" Asked Jake. "Hmm? I thought I heard someone called my name, not you though, before you called me." Replied Iris. "Could it be a sign?" "I don't know" said Jake. "I'll ignore it for now." And they walked away from the voice calling out to Iris. On that afternoon, she went to the Records Of Ivory History. Scanning out each picture, until one picture stood out. Lucifuge Rofocale. "Why is he here?". She touched the ball gently. " Huh?" Iris eyes opened wide. She found out the truth again. And she walked away to her chambers. "Miss Iris?" said Nikki. "Oh hey Nikki" and she went to her bed and thought over and over on who called her. "who called me, was it someone I know?" Iris shook her head and wrote in her diary the question that lingers in her mind as she slowly drifted off to sleep and Nikki placing her diary in her drawer. That night, Iris had a dream.

"Iris, help us!" "Help us, darling!" Her mom cried out. Iris winced in pain, her mom was hurting. Iris could also feel get pain, as she tried to help her mom and her dad escape Lucifer and his son. But Lucifer caught up to her and said "Reese darling, submit yourself to us and your mother and father will be saved." It is frozen to that point until Lucifer hit her mother and Iris woke up with sweat and tears. "Mom..." She held her necklace close. "You better be okay out there..." Iris cried. Nikki heard her crying and she comforted her. "I gotta stop this war I started, or else everyone I love would die." She sobbed. Nikki said "Miss Iris, I sensed a very powerful magic within you. You gotta reach your potential miss, and improve this magic, as the most powerful stone from generation to generation is within you. Your mom knew you would have Pirry inside of you so she lived in Earth where you would live a normal life." "But I'm not normal!" Iris screamed. Stuff fell over in her chamber. "Also you must control it. Your anger is what makes it strong and deadly." Iris nodded as she went back to sleep.

The next morning, she was awoken by Callidora telling her that Jake, Keara, Serenity and her are going to go to an island where they could harness their power. Iris quickly got up and brought her stuff with her, and she walked out of her chambers. "Hey Sis!" Serenity said cheerfully. "hey serenity..." Iris replied blankly. "Huh? Sis, are you okay?" Asked Serenity. Iris nodded. While Jake could notice something was wrong. But she shoved the feeling off and they were headed on their way to The Spacious Isle.  They were on their way using Callidora's magic to travel. As Iris was thinking about her dream last night, Jake stared at her, wondering what she's thinking about. An hour later, they reached their destination. Callidora said "Let's go," And they walked towards the cabin they were gonna be staying.  "We're gonna be here for a while." Callidora said. Iris nodded, and Callidora assigned their rooms. Jake was with Iris and Keara was with Serenity. "Why does it have to be him, grandma?" Iris groaned. "You got a problem with me or something?" Jake said. "No." Replied Iris. "Then everything's fine now" Callidora said. "Go to your rooms now."

Iris went to the room with Jake. Before Iris could be able to get on the bed, Jake grabbed her arm, Iris stood still. "Iris..." Jake began to speak. "Yeah?" Iris quickly responded. "Do you have a problem with me?". Iris froze before she could answer Jake, he let go of her hand. Iris sighed, "I don't have a problem with you, Jake. It's just that I... " Iris cut off her sentence. "You what?" Jake asked. "Nothing, nevermind." Iris shook her head, "Let's just try and forget this conversation ever happened." Jake was left wondering in the corner of the room.

In The Burning Realm, Lucifer and her father were planning something very horrible to The Spacious Isle. "Yes, I will eliminate her friends but leave her unconscious to bring Pirry." Said someone. "Well then, you must get going, Lili..." Said Lucifuge Rofocale.
