Chapter 8

'I wonder if mom's okay, and my dream was just a dream that isn't real.' Said Iris as she held her necklace on the balcony.

Boo! 'Ah!' Iris shrieked. 'Jake!'

Jake chuckled.

'Don't scare me like that! " Iris groaned.

Jake hugged Iris. 'Sorry.' Iris hugged him back, 'It's fine I guess.' Keara and Serenity happened to pass by, 'Guys, come on, Elranoth has to teach us how to use our wings and how to vanish!' Keara said. 'Stop touching my sister like that, Jake. I mean I ship you two but stop that. 'Serenity added. Jake let go. 'Alright then, let's go', Iris said.

All of them walked to the garden as Elranoth was waiting for them. 'Are you all here?' She asked, 'Very good, now the first thing we're gonna do is how to vanish. We say Alterogio!' She disappeared and then appeared. 'It's your turn.'

They practiced. 'Alright now, It's time for your wings. Defenundis Annoecto' Her wings appeared to be yellow flaming butterfly wings. They were all amazed by this and couldn't wait to try it.

'Your turn now. ' They said it all the same time and Iris's wings were big blue flaming butterfly wings. 'That's so pretty sis!' Serenity said. Serenity's were green butterfly wings. Keara had pink and purple butterfly wings. Jake had red butterfly wings. They all smiled at the color of the wings they have. One that stood out was Keara. Hers were two different colors.

'Sugoi!' Said Keara. 'Uh, what does that mean?' asked Iris. 'Uh, it means amazing in Japanese. ' 'Ooh okay!' 'I'm very proud of you all, ' Said Elranoth. 'I don't know if you all are ready to rescue Queen Callidora yet. ' Iris said 'We are ready, aren't we guys?' Jake and the others nodded.

'See, Elranoth? We're ready' Elranoth sighed, 'You still need more practice though, it still needs improvement. Oh, I almost forgot! When you want your wings to disappear, we say Mufecto. ' Her wings disappeared and the others too. 'I'll search for how many people are guarding Queen Callidora in The Burning Realm, the rest of you, practice more. ' And she walked away.

Iris sighed. 'Before, I was just a normal girl trying to live through high school and the second thing I know, I'm a half-demon that has the powerful stone as my heart. And third, I'm going to be Crowned Princess by the time I'm 18. I'm only 16. Why is this so hard having the fate of the world in your hands? ' Iris cried. Jake and the others hugged her. 'Some things were meant to be this way. ' Jake said. 'Now I can't live as most teenagers do. ' Iris sobbed.

'Look, some things happen for a reason, Iris.' Keara said. 'And some of them have a purpose. Our purpose is to save the world, and stop this war before it goes into chaos. You aren't alone in this war, Iris. We're fighting for it too, for the sake of humanity, for the sake of all the demons. If we fall, we can stand up over and over again so that we'll be strong. We believe in you, and we believe in ourselves. You set an example for us, so you're the leader. We stand by you. ' Iris stopped crying, 'Really though? ' Keara nodded. 'Alright, ' Iris wiped her tears, 'We're gonna save the world! Whatever it takes!'

All of them cheered happily. 'Let's go and practice a bit more, just like Elranoth said. She's right, we haven't mastered it all yet. ' Iris said. 'Yes, let's go. ' Jake added.

They practiced once more. Elranoth came back, 'About 200 demons are guarding Queen Callidora. Are you sure you guys are up for it?' 'Of course! ', Iris said. 'We believe in ourselves to rescue my grandmother. ' She smiled. 'And I know my team is strong and would never give up no matter how strong the enemy is. ' Elranoth smiled, 'So you have learned it, the value of leadership. Have you guys mastered it yet?' Keara said 'We're halfway there, Elranoth. Just a few more minutes, and we'll master it. ' Elranoth nodded and walked away.

'The Adventure will begin soon, and we'll finally win this war, and stop it from having chaos on Earth' said Iris. 'But sis, what about the Hysteria Vanquisher?' Serenity asked. 'I'll control it soon enough, ' Said Iris. 'I just need time to control this type of spell. It might just stop Lucifer and Leviathan. I started this war again. The third generation always has to fight for the stone. Come on, we have no time to lose. '

Elranoth called them, 'I have something for you. Follow me. ' Elranoth walked through the Castle's halls, and Iris and the other followed her. They arrived in some sort of armory but only with all the magic spells. 'What are we doing here, Elranoth? I thought we only needed our hands to do magic. ' Iris said.

'These are stuff that will help you form your magic. ' Elranoth replied, 'Keara. ' Keara moved towards her. Elranoth handed her some ballet shoes, 'These are no ordinary ballerina shoes. These shoes are very magical, that's why you took ballet lessons, together with this.' Elranoth handed her a stick with a ribbon. 'It can turn into anything you want it to be. Whether it's an instrument or anything. ' Keara took both and could feel an intense magic power.

'Serenity, ' Serenity moved towards her 'You are the healer of this team, therefore you must have this healing water. With the help of your healing magic, you're going to heal any sort of sickness your team may get.' Serenity took it, she could feel as if she was one with the water.

'Iris. ' Iris stepped up, 'This bow, once belonged to your mother and was made by Algarath herself, is a very powerful weapon that could kill any demon you hit it with, ' Iris took the bow, her hair floated,

'Jake. ' Elranoth said. 'This sword was carved by one of the most powerful wizards in history, Olgroz. This sword can cut through anything, whether it's a demon or it's a thing. ' Jake took it.

'That stuff I gave you, you can use it in battle, and it is only an extension of your magic. Use it well. ' Elranoth concluded. Iris and the others thanked Elranoth. 'Also Serenity, don't waste the water. ' Elranoth had called out to Serenity. Serenity nodded.

'That sword must be heavy, Jakey.' Iris said. 'Yeah, well it doesn't feel heavy to me. 'Jake replied. 'But it looks so heavy, ' Iris added, 'It's probably because that's yours now. ' Jake couldn't agree more with her. Keara and Serenity held hands. 'Seriously? At this time?' Jake complained. 'Oh shush, Jake. You just don't know what it feels like to have someone like this to hold. ' Serenity said, looking at Iris. While Serenity kept teasing Iris to Jake, Iris couldn't hear her as she was drifting off of reality and into a daydream.

'I know you like her though, 'Serenity teased. 'I don't. ' Said Jake firmly. 'Mhm' Keara nodded sarcastically. 'You two are so annoying. 'Jake groaned. Keara and Serenity snickered.
