All about Saturn

Adorned with thousands of beautiful ringlets, Saturn is unique among the planets. It is not the only planet to have rings – made of chunks of ice and rock – but none are as spectacular or as complicated as Saturn's. Like fellow gas giant Jupiter, Saturn is a massive ball made mostly of hydrogen and helium. Saturn, son of the Lord Surya and Chhaya, is believed to be the greatest teacher who rewards righteous acts and punishes those who follow the path of evil and betrayal. Also known as the Lord or Karma and Justice, Lord Shani is considered to be the most malefic planet that brings restrictions and misfortunes. Saturn is a gas giant like Jupiter. It is made mostly of hydrogen and helium. Saturn has a thick atmosphere. Saturn has a lovely set of seven main rings with spaces between them. The symbol for Saturn is thought to be an ancient scythe or sickel, as Saturn was the god of seed-sowing and also of time. You cannot stand on Saturn. Saturn could float in water because it is mostly made of gas. Saturn is an unusual planet in some obvious ways, most notably its extensive ring system. But it's also strange in some less obvious ways: The rings appear to be far, far younger than the planet, and they follow the plane of Saturn's equator while the planet's axis of rotation wobbles around dramatically.
