I could already hear the music from the banquets. I guess visitors had already begun to arrive and guests from other regions. I paced back and forth inside my room in confusion and frustration. My mom had promised me that she would go and talk to Lucia, but she was not yet back. Oh, this was just so frustrating. I don't think I can step into that place alone. I just needed Lucia. She was like my good luck. I wanted her so badly. She was the only thing and the only person I could think about.
Just then the door opened and my mom walked in already set and ready for the banquet.
