“Thanks, Sam.” Derek shook Sam's hands. “You've been a great friend.” “You had my back then in college, so I had to do this for you,” Sam answered. She pulled back her arm, took up the glass of wine and sipped gently. “Anything for you, Derek.” Derek sat back into his chair, his wine glass tightly held in the other hand while he swirled the liquid inside. “Thanks.” There was silence between them for some minutes except for the occasion chirping of birds.
