Matt lit a cigarette in the balcony of his penthouse. He looked outside, over the roofs of the other buildings, at the dark skies and the bustling streets down below. His heart ached inside and even though he had not said a word since he entered the penthouse, Matt was in pain. An ache that he wasn't sure he had felt in a while.
