The next few days at work for Emily was smooth. There wasn't Matt to annoy her and strangely enough, her co-workers gave her all the space and quietness that she needed.
Emily believed she woke up by the right side of the bed that week but rightly, it might have been because she aired her worries to Derek.
Speaking of Derek, her fiancee made sure he showed up at her house every morning to take her to work, packed her a lunch pack, gave her a goodbye kiss and when her work was over, he was the first in the parking lot, waiting for her.
“I love you to the moon and back, Emily and I will prove it to you.” Derek smouldered her with kisses in front of everyone when he came with a banquet of flowers and a box of chocolate right in the middle of a very important meeting.
