I closed the laptop and packed my things into my bag. My body felt sore from sitting all day, every muscle protesting as I finally stood up. I stepped out of my office just as the elevator pinged, waiting for me. “You leaving?” I jumped, clutching my chest as Sebastian appeared out of nowhere. “You scared me!” He just chuckled at my reaction. “Oh, you should have seen your face.” I stared at him, not finding it even remotely funny.
