“Wait a second,” he said out loud and called up the spectrum of argon. He superimposed it on the spectrum from the inner sphere. “Will you look at that,” he muttered, as the argon lines matched several lines from the sphere. “Mother, eliminate argon lines from the sphere spectrum,” he ordered.
