Chasity wiggled her way out of my arms. Her skin was slippery in the water so she managed to escape me for just a moment. She had seemingly forgotten we were still at the deep end. She went under the water’s surface instantly. I grabbed her and pulled her back up. She was spluttering and coughing up water.
