Episode One

   I was sold. To whom? Well to vampires see back in 2020 there's this virus that spread from Europe which infected humans that turns them into vampires the original elders of the vampires not only they came to the states, but the pack of werewolves came as well. My older brother Nick begged our parents to take me out to celebrate my sixteenth birthday. After we were done celebrating we were walking back home when a group of rouge vampires followed us they bit my brother in front of me. And my parents blamed me for what happened the police didn't even find his body that could mean two things: He's a vampire or that the werewolves got him. So for the pass year my parents would bully me my dad even took it to the next level to where I would be shoved down the stairs and I would come to school with bruises. Half of the students didn't even bother on asking me what happened cause I would come up with excuses like I tripped going down the stairs. So the only place I would go just to hide from my parents is the library. The head of the library would see me reading to the kids while he was stocking the shelves. The head gave me two books about the laws of the vampires long with a book about werewolf policy and there laws which I find awesome. I was walking home when I see a car parked in front of my house and see vampires talking to my parents. 'What's going on?' I thought. I reached my house and the vampires turn to face me. "Is this the girl?" one of them asked. I looked at my parents my dad nodded his head whereas my mom has this guilty look on her face, I didn't buy it I knew it's fake. I was then escorted into the car without even looking at my parents. The car drove off towards the auction house which in a abandon warehouse. "How much do you know about our laws?" one of the vampires asked me. "Not much I mean I know a few that you execute a rouge if he/she doesn't follow the laws that your elders have placed. They can't go into the werewolves territory unless they were invited." I answered. I just hope the knowledge that I gave them was enough. Surprisingly it satisficed them. "I am impressed no mortal has taken the liberty and time to know about our laws and polices." he said to me. I was shocked that I never gotten praised by a vampire about my knowledge of there laws usually I would get bullied by my dad.

      The drive wasn't long when we reached the warehouse district half of the warehouses are filled up with vampires that stay here and I'm guessing that's where they live I wonder if I could dig up some information about my brother, but I know that if I step out of line I'll be compel to obey the Slave Master. The vampires took me to a room at the end of the hall I walked and heard the door closed the only things that I have is my book bag that has my books and the clothes on my back. I walked over to what's now my bed for the next few days. I had to hide my book bag from prying vampires while they would put through compulsions trying to get me into submission which worked till auction time. I was woken up from my sleep and was escorted to a room where I see girls my age getting ready. "Rose see to it that Skylar is ready for auction." a vampire ordered. I never told the vampires my name. "Yes master." she said and walked over to me took me over to a chair and got me ready. I held my book bag to my chest so far a lot of numbers were being called till I heard: "#234 aka Rose." "That's me you'll be fine on your own?" she asked me. I nodded my head. It wasn't long till I heard my number being called, "#235 aka Skylar." I slowly got up from the chair that I was sitting in and walked out onto the stage I heard vampires and werewolves cat whistling at me. All except one he has long blonde hair and dark grey eyes that could pierce into your soul. "Let's start the bid at $1,000." the auctioneer said. Every time I heard numbers I would slowly start crying till I heard, " Two million." I looked up to see the same one with the long blonde hair and dark grey eyes has his arms crossed and I could of sworn I heard him growling at the vampires and werewolves. I was then escorted off of the stage to go sit where the other girls were already being bought. I saw Rose and sat down next to her. "Rose I'm scared." I said to her for the first time since the compulsion was lifted. "It's going to be okay, Sky." she said to me. I was shocked when I heard that name. "What is something wrong?" she asked me. "It's nothing it's just that I never had nickname before or any friends." I answered. "Well you got one." she said to me. "Thanks." I said. We started laughing when we saw the stage door opened and there stood the guy that bought me and Rose. It's Willas McLearone he's the Alpha of the Niteshadow Pack. Why is he interested in me?  I mean I'm not that special. "Let's go." he said. We followed him out of the warehouse then the cold breeze came. I felt a jacket being placed onto my shoulders. I was about to shrug it off, but he kept on placing his jacket on my shoulders. I looked up at him and just kept the jacket onto my shoulders and we walked towards a limo.
