**DOMINIC'S POV** "Boss, why did you let her go? We had her right in our hands," Enigma's voice dripped with frustration. I leaned back in my chair, sipping my coffee, and smirked. "It's a game, Enigma. She wants to play, and I want to play too." Enigma's brow furrowed. "How is this a game, boss?" he asked. "Your mother's life is in danger," he continued his tone low. "Your father wants you to bring the girl to him in exchange for your mother's life he......". "Shut the f**k up and don't question my authority," I interrupted, irritation bubbling up. "I said it's a game, and I want to play it too. You're not in the game; you're just an addition. Don't poke your nose into it." Enigma bowed slightly. "I apologize, boss." "Go out," I ordered, swiveling my chair to face the view outside.
