"What do you mean she will be staying with me, and why not you? What happened to her house?" I asked Sarah, who stood before me. She had come into my office this morning with the most ridiculous request I had ever heard.she wanted me to accommodate Samantha, but she refused to tell me the reason.
"Can't you answer?" I pressed, as Sarah remained silent.
"She needs help, Dominic," Sarah finally spoke. "I can't assist her because I'm also in need of help. Right now, I'm staying at a friend's place."
"What?" I sat down, trying to process her words. "Why do you need help, and why aren't you staying in your own house?"
