Barbara called Fabian and wondered if he still remembered her. Fabian called her 'mi amor'. He kissed her and she turned away. She was angry because no one told her. She found out about Don Lorenzo's death on TV. She went to Fabian's mother and wished that she had been there earlier to accompany her. Fabian’s mother said this was not a social gathering, Barbara didn't have to be there. Barbara turned to leave, but Fabian stopped her and said she didn't have to leave, he still loved her. He kissed her cheek and told her to be calm. Fabian left her with other guests and went to another room where his father, Juan Francisco, was talking about business with two men. Fabian joined them and hugged his father. Juan Francisco proudly introduced his son to his two important friend. Later, Joaquin approached Juan Francisco. Juan told him that she cannot stop picking coffee beans for 4 months because they needed to supply more coffee to New York. He was worried because all the workers were not working, they were standing in front of the house doing nothing. Bruno reminded him that the workers were mourning Don Lorenzo. They respected and loved their boss. Bruno told him to continue his business discussion. Bruno left Juan Francisco and bumped into his son. He told Antonio that his uncle had turned the wake into a business meeting. Bruno helped keep Antonio's coat while Antonio went to see what his uncle was up to. Juan Francisco introduced his nephew to his two friends. He said Antonio was completing his degree in London. Antonio was standing there impatient to talk with his hands on his waist. One of the men said he was definitely learning about business. Antonio said he wasn't interested in business, he was interested in land, especially this land, and he wished to stay there forever. He turned and left Juan Francisco, Fabian and the two guests chuckling. Antonio walked to the balcony and saw Isabella walking away with her mother. There were hundreds of people standing outside the church watching Don Lorenzo's coffin being carried into the church. TV reporters were there taking pictures. Soledad was crying some more. Later, everybody was in the church and Soledad and Isabella were just taking their seats. Isabella's image was blurred in the background and Antonio's face filled the screen. Isabella worried about seeing her mom being extremely sad. She pulled out a flower and told her mom to go put the flower on don Lorenzo's coffin. Soledad said there's no room for poor people among those rich people. Isabella said this is God's house, and everyone is equal. Isabella stood up and walked casually in her slippers towards the coffin. She put the flower on the coffin and crossed herself. Antonio asked Fabian who the beautiful girl was. Fabian said he didn't have to ask anything if he was not interested in having fun. Antonio shot him a look. Isabella turned and started walking back to her mom. She saw Antonio. They looked at each other. She smiled and looked down while walking to her mom. Next day.. Isabella was picking coffee beans and singing from the top of her lungs. Antonio joined his grandma for breakfast. Dona Ines complained about the loud singing by that girl. She said that girl had been doing that for years. She wondered why Aurelio didn't do anything about that. She said the girls should respect the people in the house who were still mourning. Antonio promised that he'd handle the situation. Antonio went to look for Aurelio and asked who the girl was singing. Aurelio said it was Isabella and asked if he wanted him to tell her to stop singing? Antonio said no, he'd do it himself. Isabella was sitting on some sacks of coffee with her bare legs crossed. She was singing with a pencil and a notebook on her lap. Antonio watched her for sometime before calling her. He said he was there because his family were disturbed by her loud singing while they were still mourning. Isabella apologized for being too loud and swore that it didn't mean that she didn't respect Don Lorenzo. She said if he didn't believe her, she'd talk to Dona Ines herself. She started walking away, but Antonio held her arm and said she didn't have to. She stopped talking and looked at his fingers holding her arm. He said he hoped she'd lower her volume. She agreed to do that. He thanked her for putting the flower on his grandfather's coffin. She said it was from her mom and herself. Antonio thanked her again and they shook hands. It was a very long handshake. They were interrupted by the family's lawyer, Jorge. Antonio excused himself and escorted Jorge into the house. Isabella smiled. Jorge was reading the will. Don Lorenze left the export company, El Cafetalero, for Juan Francisco and the branches. He left Bruno the Hacienda Casablanca and the land for a plantation. Bruno smiled and Antonio touched his shoulder. They seemed satisfied. Jorege continued that the wealth must be passed to their sons. They cannot sell what he gave them, and it must be passed on to their next generations (sons and grandsons) with the Sanchez Sambrano family name by birth in order to ensure the existence of his family throughout their time in the coffee business. Diana complained that it was 100 percent machoism. Jorge said it was what that was stated in the will. Juan Francisco stood up when he thought everything had ended. Jorge stopped him and pulled out an envelope left by Don Lorenzo. It contained Don Lorenzo's last wish, but he can't open the envelope now because Don Lorenzo allowed it to be opened after 4 years. Juan Francisco said he was prepared to take any responsibility and consequences and wanted Jorge to open the envelope. Dona Ines said she also wanted to know what was in the envelope, but they must respect their father's last wish. Isabella was enjoying her drinks and writing something on her notepad. A man was with Aurelio watching Isabella, admiring her. That guy was interested in Isabella. Aurelio said all he had to do was get to that girl and tell her how beautiful she was. That guy smiled and asked that easily? Then why did no one approach her? He decided to try his luck. He approached Isabella and asked her out to a hotel in town. Isabella took her drink and tossed it into that man's face. It was hot and that man screamed. She grabbed his head and shoved his head into a basin full of water. She yelled at him and warned him to stay away from her. The workers were clapping and cheering. Isabella said she preferred to go to town with her mom. She walked out of the place. Aurelio approached that soaked man and said "Now you now that Isabella must be respected." Fabian promised Barbara that he'd be back in London soon. He believed that in less than a year he'd become the manager of the El Cafetalero company and, after that, he'd marry her and have children. Barbara asked if he was proposing because of what was stated in the will. Fabian said yes. She'll give him sons, and they inherit the family's wealth. Bernando was not interested in girls. Antonio is worse, so their sons will inherit Sanchez Sambrano's wealth. He pulled her to his lap and they hugged. Bruno was with Antonio. Bruno was sad because his wife thought Juan Francisco got the best part. He preferred the house and the land because his father loved the land too. Antonio said grandpa was exactly like him and Antonio, they loved that place. Bruno excused himself because he wanted to say goodbye to those who would be leaving that day.
