Nouveau Mont Royal—The most popular attraction at the Nouveau Mont Royal Circus, the angels Armaros and Baraqiel, appear to have vanished along with the other circus performers this past weekend. Although theories abound as to the location of the former occupants of all the circuses in the Republic, citizens are nearly unanimous in their conclusions about Armaros and Baraqiel.
Nouveau Mont Royal“They’ve gone back to heaven,” declared Suzie Cuthbertson of New D.C. “It’s because of the Oracle,” concurred her companion, who declined to name herself. “God’s will has been done and the angels are leaving us to ourselves.” Both women wore red temporary tattoos on their foreheads, which mimic the mark of the angel’s kiss on the brow of the newly appointed Oracle, Delilah.
