Chicago—Citizens residing in Chicago continue to be plagued by nocturnal bands of freed shades and are becoming impatient with the State of Emergency. Although the netherzones of Chicago were unlocked by the Oracle in February of this year, the Republic has not thus far managed to contain the shades and restore order to the beleaguered city. President Van Buren declared a State of Emergency in February, but despite the deployment of additional troops, the city remains chaotic each night.
