Chapter Six I’m not sure I had even fallen asleep yet when I began to hear it growling. It was low, deep, menacing. It was under the bed. I could hear it stalking, and my heart swelled at the possibility that I might see it again. It was here for me. I knew that now; it had no interest in Jonathan.
