Revelation 2
Church felt disoriented before realising he now stood outside his cottage.
Gathering his thoughts and looking around, he asked, “Where’s Joe and Pinky?”
“I took them home,” said the Eternal.
Church looked confused as Shirley explained, “Eternals can be in many places at once.”
Church then appeared sullen. “We failed,” he said sounding woeful. “We never made it, did we?”
“On the contrary Church, you and your team, along with every other Chosen-one, succeeded.”
“I don’t understand. Your edict was specific, and we failed the Rashids. We neither saved the Martyr or the saint.”
The Eternal smiled, as Sue, Pearl, and Jack came out of the cottage and over to a confused Church. Sue kissed Church and he smiled down at Eve cradled in Sue’s arms. The Eternal spoke to Granny Pearl
