Harper’s POV
I blinked, finally finding my voice again.
“What? No.” I said. “I’m not moving into your—”
“You don’t have the right to refuse.” Cade said menacingly, cutting me off. “As your employer, I won’t allow my future child to be carried in a place this broken and dangerous.”
The man Cade had become one I couldn't object to. I couldn't imagine the consequences.
“Um…okay.” I said hesitantly. “Can I have some time to settle things with my family?”
Cade turned away coldly, not bothering to acknowledge them or speak on the matter further.
“Ten minutes.” He ordered as he stepped through the door.
