Cade’s POV I swept my gaze across the servants. I wanted to tell them to treat Harper the same way they treated me—but I didn’t want Harper to think I still cared. After all, I’d already said this was about revenge. So I did nothing but glare at them, at least ensuring that it was clear that there was a point being made about their behavior. I would speak to them of what I expected from them later, when Harper couldn’t hear what I had to say. I looked down at Harper, suddenly realizing I was still holding her in my arms. She blinked up at me, her eyes shining like stars with the way the light was hitting her eyes just right. I  felt myself lean forward slightly, feeling a sudden and unexplainable pull to the light that came from the eyes that had haunted most of my dreams for years
