IRIS'S P.O.V Alone in the moonlit forest, I took a moment to steady myself. My heart continued to race, and my breaths came in ragged gasps. It was disorienting, being thrust into this situation without any warning or explanation from Kayden. "Kayden, what the heck was that?" I muttered, my voice a mix of anger and confusion.
