"Step brother?" I murmured, the word tasting weird in my mouth. I felt suddenly sick to my stomach.
"Yes." She frowned and sneered. "Most people assumed they were half brothers, which they weren't, when the whole thing came to light. But most people assumed they were brothers, at first. Blood brothers."
