I let out a low growl.
"Who the fück are you?"
"That's not a way to speak to a Goddess, now is it, Liam?" She smiled and it seemed almost ethereal. Suddenly, she began to emit some kind of glow that was almost blinding.
"Selene?" I called, squinting at the light.
"Hello, Liam." The glow dimmed and the person standing in front of me was no longer a seven year old girl but a woman probably in her mid twenties. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen, her beauty was otherworldly like it wasn't meant to be gazed upon by just anyone. She was perfect.
I went down on one knee with a fist on my chest, my head bowed.
"Oh, please." She rolled her eyes. "Get up Liam. No need for formalities."
I looked up and saw that she was back to her seven year old self.
