It was another usual day at home, and I as usual feeling suffocated and trapped. Primary school had been a whole phase. Trying to hide myself and avoid getting noticed, made me feel more comfortable. I was always going to be that background character, who had friends but was never noticed in the friend group. *Sigh*.
[In a primary 5 classroom]

Rhema: Oh my god! What was that?
Zara: I don't know, let's check it out.
[They check near the class balcony]
Sharon: Who's that! . [pause] . Oh it's you Lexi.
Lexi: Sorry, [ rubs neck] I tried to get my textbook, but it slipped and my books toppled over.
Sharon: Don't worry help you.
Lexi: No need, you guys should go. Wouldn't want "Alex" to know that.
Sharon: Why I'm just helping you out. After all, we're just friends. Helping each other out is what we do.
Lexi: I know but since you like Alex,_____[cuts in]
Sharon: I do not!(>..<)
Lexi: Sure, what are friends for(:-|).
Sharon: You're a lifesaver (^^)!, [hugs her and runs off] .
