Everything, every last inch of the cave was inflamed in holy fire. The stalagmites with their glittering surfaces seemed to be melting in the inferno. The water was the only place not engulfed in heaven’s flame.
Dani Lopez and her angelic powers were said to be unstoppable, a force nothing could win against. Quade and his sisters were naive to think that two of heaven’s children would be no match against 4 greater demons. Hell has no fury like a mother fighting for her child. Especially when that mother is the most powerful being in the world.
The only thing saving the three witches and the greater demon from perishing was the bedrock blocking the fire from creeping all the way up the stairwell.
