Chapter 4 moving on and plans.

He held me close to his chest and I let my tears out. They stood there silently while looking at Dimitri for permission to join in on the hug and when he nodded, the others also hugged me until I stopped crying, then we all let go and I cleaned my face while smiling at them. We stood there for twenty minutes before she finally walked outside. And when she stood before us, we knew that it wasn’t any good news because of the angry look in her eyes.

“Well, it turns out that it's not a spell or compulsion or anything like that, it’s the last memory he had of his father, and while looking into his memories I found out why he kept repeating those words. It's because his father and mother said those to him before they took their last breath. And apparently, instead of being killed, your mother ordered him to take you away and so did your father. He couldn’t resist their royal command, so he ran all over the place looking for you, but what he saw after that made him go mad with rage. He found you, but he was too late. That piece of s**t ripped you apart without knowing that the last royal guard was watching.

But your mother told him that if you get killed and the goddess takes pity on them, then you might be reborn, so she asked him to protect you if he ever finds you again.” She spoke with anger and sadness.

“What mother knew?” I spoke, looking surprised.

“Yes, but that’s not all. His mind is in an uproar due to the fact of having looked for you until now, but he gave up last year believing that the queen was wrong and that he had failed his job and his queen and king. He saw it as a punishment being in that weak pack. But when you said your name, you gave him hope, but I could also see something else. I’m sorry to say my queen, but he can’t be trusted and sadly he should be killed for failing his duty. Because he got a tip around when we met that you could be the queen but instead of seeing if it was true, he killed the messenger and then he wandered around the world until now. His mind is almost destroyed because you reminded him about the past and his beast is very angry at his human, so he is punishing him by not helping him with anything for years , so he is dying. My queen and not even his beast can help him now because he got the mark.” She spoke with anger.

“No, not the mark. It can’t be Celia.” I spoke with frustration in my voice.

“I’m sorry to say my friend but she is telling the truth he has the mark of a traitor on his wrist, and you know as well as I do that the deeper the color is the more sinful his crime is. and this mark is so black that the engravings is almost unreadable. And because of that I believe he must die because he is marked for life waiting to die. Well, we don’t really need to kill him because the mark will kill him anyways. The mark sends out a deadly poison that cannot be reversed or cured no matter what. Which means that he is dying.” Said Dimitri.

“Well, that’s sad but sadly I can’t do anything if that is the case. I guess we must kill him then, but I want to be the one to do it to give him some peace of mind and telling him that it wasn’t his fault so that he can stop blaming himself now.” I spoke with sadness for my poor guardian. It makes me sad to know that he lost hope in finding me again but for the mark to appear it must have been bad for him all these years and that’s why I want to set him free from his duty and watch me with our parents.

I walked inside the old cabin and then till the living room where I saw him sitting in chains on a chair. I walked to him until I was standing in front of him. I felt my heart breaking for my poor guardian who lost his way because of his duty. I needed to set him free from his misery. This I vowed s his queen.

“Hi Michael, I’m sorry that you have suffered for hundreds of years because of me. I’m back and as your queen I forgive you, its not your fault that I died my friend. Now I will give you peace and free you from your duty. Goodbye my friend.” I spoke while looking at him with a smile. Then I hugged him and let him cry before I killed him. After a while I used one of my abilities to kill him without him feeling anything. His heart exploded in his body and then he fell limp on the chair. I walked away and let my tears fall down my cheeks for losing not only a friend but the last heir to the Bellavia line.

Dimitri came inside and held him to his chest and hugged me. I let myself cry for losing such a great man. Celia did a kick spell to see if he was dead and to make matters worse, he was dead but not his beast because apparently the goddess had given him a chance to talk to me.

His beast bowed and showed his neck in submission.

“Hi, my queen I’m sorry we failed you so don’t be sad for our sake we shouldn’t have given up or rather my stupid human shouldn’t have lost hope and kept looking.” He spoke using his human's dead body.

“I don’t blame either of you for my death. I went insane with rage after all and then I got killed, that’s all. What’s your name?” I spoke.

“If that’s the case, then I won't blame myself or my stupid human anymore. I’m sorry my queen. I should have told you my name before I started talking about the past. My name is Marc.” He spoke.

“Its okey marc. Well, I don’t blame either of you and I want you guys to watch over me together with our parents while I take back our land and everything else that got taken from us, I will have my revenge and unite our people but first I must finish my mission.” I spoke with grace.

“Alright. We will do that my queen. I will pray for your success and happiness my queen. We will watch over you until we meet again. Bye my queen it was an honor talking to you.” He spoke. Then the body fell on the floor which indicated that he had passed on.

I guess we just lost a great warrior but because of this I crave for revenge even more and one day I will have my revenge but not now. Until then I will use my original name which will make me and my shifter one. For we are no wolf we are stronger than werewolves, but they don’t need to know that. On this day forward my name is Alpha Alexa Blackwood. And me and my so-called wolf is now one. I have many forms which is one of my gifts. I can change to whichever being I want and that’s not all I also get those beings powers and strength etc. that’s why no one would ever recognize me. Because one of my many powers is that of a shapeshifter which is why I’m never a wolf or Lycan in my past lives because I have been born as different supernatural beings every time. One time I was reborn as a vampire etc. my powers are very powerful but that’s also one of the reasons why it’s a secret only my most trusted people know about like my pack and friends who will never be loyal to anyone except me. They have been betrayed, hurt, abused, lied to etc. That’s why they will never be loyal to anyone else because I was the one to accept them for who they are and for what they are. I accepted them for who they are and freed them from their horrible lives and saved them. I don’t allow abuse or bullying or other bad behavior in my pack and they know this. My pack has always been more peaceful than others and because of that, I’m proud and happy that my pack members feel happy and safe with me as their alpha. But the reason why my pack stays hidden is to not only protect my pack but to also protect those who can’t protect themselves or have been rejected by their own. I don’t expect anything from them other than that I want them to be happy. Anyways, we must return to that pack after they have burned the body and then I must find a new alpha for them or take them with me, but I don’t trust them enough to take them to my pack, which is why the neighboring pack probably must take them into their pack. I just hope that I can return home soon. After all, I have school to finish too. Then I told them that we must burn the body which Giovanni had already done while I was stuck in my own thoughts. Well, it’s great having them around. We started to run back to the pack and the faster we get back the faster we can return home. When we got back, we saw that the pack members were still there. We left them waiting for me to continue. Then I walked so that I stood in the center and then I asked every warrior to step forward, and then I also told others that have high-ranked blood running through their veins and none-high ranked status to step forward and they did.

“Alright, now this meeting will continue. Everyone, one of you who steps forward will have to go through three different tests and those of you who pass will fight Raphael and if one of the last contestants manages to defeat him, then I will promote you as the new alpha, beta, gamma etc. any questions?” I spoke.

“If I may Alpha. How are you going to test us?” asked a warrior.

“That’s a good one. Well, the first test will be a team battle to see how you work as a group and to see your leadership. The rules are simple. You will have to defeat my own team. We will use paintball pistols and the team who succeeds in defeating the whole group using teamwork will win. This test is to test your abilities as a leader and how you adjust in any difficult situation. You have two hours to defeat the other team. If you fail, you may still have a chance to advance to the next test. Now I will discuss with my team how we are going to create the teams.” I spoke.

Everyone nodded at what I said, then they stood together patiently waiting for us to decide how many should be in the team. We decided that it would be an eight-on-eight fight. I chose Giovanni as the judge of this test together with Dimitri because this was their forte. They picked the groups and then mixed them so that there were at least one- two warriors in every group so that it would be fair. Then they told them to walk to their groups and then we walked to the pack stage to sit down and told them that they would have their battle in the woods. The end line is by the boundary, they have quite a distance to fight on. Raphael was setting up cameras throughout the woods while we were talking. When he was back and connected the cameras to the big TV screen on the stage, Dimitri told my team to go inside the woods to prepare. They have 10 minutes to hide and come up with a strategy. Then, after ten minutes had passed, team 1 went into the forest and then the fight began. Dimitri fired his gun, signaling the fight had begun.

My team: leader: Gamma- Talon. Teammates: Hiro- warrior, Hirayama- enforcer, kaori- hunter, Keisuke- tracker, Keisuke’s twin Kensuke- warrior, Thania- delta, Charlie- beta.

Team 1: Derek- alpha, Alan- alpha with warrior blood. Rex- warrior, Felix- beta, Diane- Derek’s twin sister, alpha. Dane- warrior, Cain- beta, Paul- alpha.

Team 2: Hale- Alpha, James- warrior, Jasper- alpha, Dave- beta, George- warrior, Calvin- alpha, Casper- beta, Ray- alpha.

Team 3: Robert- warrior, hope- omega, Keegan- alpha, may- omega, Harley- beta, Rick- warrior, Robbie- alpha, Nick- omega.

Team 4: Kei- warrior, Henry, Mori- omega, Hinata- alpha, Sora- warrior, Marlow- beta, Meave- Marlow’s triplet, Maverick- Marlows and Maeve’s triplet and is the oldest of the three.

The rest is not going to participate duo to the fact that it`s mostly warriors left that doesn’t want to be alpha, beta, gamma etc. Before my team left and walked into the woods, they took their gear and wore camouflage clothes so that they would be almost impossible so find in the woods. They are not my very best team but because Talon is the leader, I’m sure that this test will be very hard and interesting. It will also serve as a good lesson for this pack and open their eyes. Talon has been trained by me and the other council members ever since we created our pack so I can say with pride that he is one of the best fighters we have in our pack. And I’m proud to call him my gamma. This will also be good for me because I will be able to see how the other members of his team is doing and how trained and skilled, they are. But I’m more excited to see how this packs teams are doing and how skilled they are.

I will explain a little about my pack before I tell you the rest of this story. My pack is bigger than most packs. And we have different ranks and stuffs but there are no mean members my in pack, everyone helps each other and is equally important. The omegas are well taken care of and gets to do which work they want and is good at and that goes for every one else too. To explain fast I have two betas and two gammas, four deltas because my delta has two mates and one kid who is in delta training. Then there is the scouts or spies, enforcers, warriors, head warriors, head doctor, doctors, head hunter, hunters, guards, head guards etc. when we made this pack the members were only 50 people and now if you count those who have returned back home I have almost ten thousand pack members but not all of them lives in the pack because they live in different packs to keep an eye on them for me while some lives in the city with the humans and have normal jobs its easier to get information that way. You could say that my pack members live all around the world with different packs and in different cities and gather a lot of information for the pack. Well, it’s a secret anyways that I have the largest and most dangerous pack out here. Anyways where were we?

The test. Right, you guys want to know how it goes well here we go. The first team succeeded in taking out two members of my team while my team succeeded in taking out three of their members which means that they failed in this test. But what we judge is the leadership and how well you work as a team. And I have to say that their strategy was great, and they could have won if they had trained more and had a proper trainer. Alan is an excellent alpha and leader and with more training he could be a great fighter. I almost want to recruit him to my own pack. He is very talented and has a lot of potential. I will put him in the list of candidates for the alpha position for now. Then the next team walked towards the forest to hide while my team waited here and discussed their strategies. I have a feeling that it won’t go exactly as they have planned. I have a feeling that this team is much stronger and well organized then Alans team was. I looked at the list and felt excited to see that they not only have two betas but also four alphas and two warriors in this team. This is going to be interesting. I wonder how well this team does and how many of my own members will lose this round. I smirked at the thought and so did my wolf she was as excited as me if not more. After ten minutes had passed Dimitri fired of the gun signaling that the time was up, and my team took off into the forest. After only five minutes team 2 had taken down my team's warrior and Delta. I got a little surprised at that. My team hadn’t even succeeded in taking out one of their members while my team has already lost two. this is getting even more interesting. 30 minutes later Talon succeeded in taking out team 2 two betas while they had succeeded in taking out my team`s warrior Hiro and their tracker. My team has now lost four members in their team. I wonder how they are going to find the opponents now that their tracker is gone. I could feel my wolf getting excited and so was I. after an hour of neither teams giving up and playing it safe Dimitri deemed team two the winners of this round. I couldn’t help but feel a little happy when I saw my teams unhappy and frustrated faces. Team 2 leader Hale was excellent and showed great leadership and showed that he could work well with others. He also has great potential and is very talented. If Talon had trained him, I’m sure that he would have surpassed him after a year or two. maybe I should take him with me to my own pack and make him a powerful warrior. I smiled at the idea. Before I decide I must wait and see what Dimitri and Giovanni thinks. I looked at Giovanni and saw him writing down things on a paper while smiling which could only mean one thing. And that is that he found this battle interesting and is very happy with the result or it could be that he has the same idea as me.
