Walking Down The Aisle

Amelia and Scarlet helped Evelyn get ready because she did not know anything about makeup. Although Evelyn was beautiful even without makeup, a light touch of cheek blush, lip gloss, and eyeliner did magic to her face. She set her long hair down, which waved beautifully to her waist. Evelyn's long golden hair was something that could make people stop and stare at her for a minute. It flowed down her hips in shiny, wavy curls. "Here, wear these earrings," Amelia instructed as she handed the jewelry to Evelyn. The earrings exuded elegance, which contained a long chain and a simple stone hanging at the end of each piece. "These earrings look like raindrops," Evelyn muttered and smiled as she stared at the jewelry with an amused expression. "They're sapphire," Amelia revealed. Evelyn turned her head to look at her. "Huh?" Evelyn asked, tilting her head in confusion. The doctor almost made a facepalm for forgetting Evelyn did not know anything about accessories and jewelry. "Sapphire is one of the most precious stones in the world," Amelia explained. Evelyn's eyes twinkled in amazement. "It must be expensive then. Oh, no! I can't wear these. What if I lose them?" Evelyn spoke worriedly and gave the earrings back to Amelia hastily. Scarlett sighed and retrieved the earnings from Amelia. "Evelyn, this is your special day. You deserve all the precious things in the world today. In addition, you're not an ordinary girl anymore. You'll be the luna of this pack in about an hour," Scarlett reminded her with a smile. Evelyn felt extremely nervous after hearing Scarlett's words. In an hour, she would be the luna of one of the most powerful packs in the world. It was a responsibility she was not yet ready for. She didn't even know what a luna should do. "Don't worry, dear. Everything's going to be alright. We're all here for you," Scarlett assured Evelyn with a gentle pat on the shoulder. After that, Amelia gave Evelyn a complimentary necklace with a sapphire locket for her to wear. "We would have bought you more jewelry, but we don't have enough time since everything happened in a rush," Amelia stated. She was disappointed that everything Evelyn wore was plain and simple. The doctor thought Evelyn deserved more since it was her wedding day, one of the most important days in a woman's life. After the alpha had accepted his mate as his luna, they would be considered officially married. But the mating ritual would only be completed once they had accepted each other mentally and physically and marked each other as mates. "Hey, I want makeup, too!" Rain shouted as he burst into the room. Everybody looked at the young omega, who strode towards them. He was clothed in a fuzzy white sweater that was too big for him. "Why do you need makeup?" Amelia asked Rain and continued to brush Evelyn's hair as a final touch. "Because I like it." Rain said as he tugged on the doctor's sleeve. Amelia rolled her eyes at him. Scarlett chuckled and spoke, "Come here. I'll do your makeup." The boy smiled wide in anticipation. Evelyn giggled as she glanced at the excited omega. Scarlett took a flower crown and put it on the boy's head, who clapped his hands joyfully. "I love flower crowns!" He shouted happily. Scarlett smiled gently at him, took a lip gloss, and applied it to Rain's lips, who immediately licked it. "Hey, don't lick it, dumbo!" Scarlett scolded while Rain smiled sheepishly. "It smelled like strawberries. I wanted to know how it tastes!" He exclaimed, making everyone laugh. "Done," Scarlett announced as she put the lip gloss away. "Do I look cute?" The boy asked. Scarlett could not help but giggle. "You look cuter than cute!" Scarlett replied and pinched the omega's cheeks, making him blush. "Rain, why do you have a lemon in your hand?" Evelyn asked after spotting Rain playing with it. "That i***t beta made me sniff at the weird plant Amelia grows. I wanted to puke after smelling it, and the lemon helps drown out the disgusting smell," Rain scrunched up his nose after speaking. "That weird plant is called datura, and it's poisonous," Amelia revealed, making the boy's eyes widen in fear. "What? But he made me smell it! Am I going to die? Why do you have a poisonous plant in your garden anyway?" Amelia rolled her eyes and explained, "Chill. Only its seeds and flowers are poisonous. Moreover, you have nothing to worry about because you're a freaking werewolf, you i***t!" After hearing the doctor's explanation, Rain's mouth formed an 'O' shape. A knock on the door interrupted their conversation, and Scarlett went to open the door. Keiran's grandfather, Alexander, stood outside expectantly. "It's time," he told Scarlett and added, "I'll walk her to the aisle." Scarlett smiled and called Evelyn over, "He wants to walk you to the aisle." Evelyn smiled as her eyes became teary. Scarlet reminded her gently, "No. No more crying today, okay?" "Come on," Keiran's grandfather addressed Evelyn as he extended his hand. Evelyn hooked her right hand in his, and they walked side by side. Scarlett, Amelia, and Rain followed them. As they continued to walk, Evelyn's knees wobbled, and her hands turned cold. She gripped the old man's hand nervously, making the old man turn his head to look at her. "Relax, dear," he soothed Evelyn. "Everything will be alright. Keiran wouldn't be cold to you all the time. You're his mate, and he loves you in his heart no matter how much he tries to deny it." Evelyn listened intently as Alexander expounded, "Ever since Keiran was a kid, he wanted to make his father proud. He loves his father dearly. Unconsciously, my son left an impression in Keiran's mind, making him hate omegas." Alexander sighed and added, "We don't know why Keiran thinks like that because William respects every omega. But I know you can make Keiran change. He will change. I have faith in it." Evelyn did not know what to say to the older alpha, so she smiled nervously. She could not even stand the pheromones of her mate, so Evelyn did not know how she could bring about that change to Keiran. Evelyn gasped when she and Alexander reached the place where the ceremony would occur. It was in an open space. There was a small stage decorated with white curtains and flowers. The white and dim yellow lights beside the aisle made Evelyn's face glow a golden shade. Only a few people were present, including the alpha's and the beta's family and some other people Evelyn had seen before but did not know well. Shyness enveloped her as everyone's attention was focused on her. Evelyn stared at her mate, who stood at the end of the aisle. He looked handsome in his suit. He stood straight and emanated a powerful aura as the moonlight hit his face, giving his ocean blue eyes a brighter sparkle. In turn, Keiran ran his eyes at his mate's figure from head to toe. He could not take his eyes off of her. Evelyn looked stunning in the white dress. She nervously bit her glossy lips as she scanned the people around her. Keiran gulped as he gazed intently at his beautiful mate. Sweet music rang in the air, and Evelyn stared at the alpha's eyes as she walked closer to him. She swore Keiran's eyes flashed red for a second.
