Come With Me

Delta lowered herself so she can look at Mira better.

"Since you forgot everything about who you are and where you came from, why not come with me." Delta beamed.

"To your home?" Mira asked.

Delta giggled, "Well Duh. I can't leave you here all alone. Plus, I like you and I want to take you home."

Mira nodded slowly, " Okay! Where do you live?" Delta stood up and pointed to the sea. Mira looked up at Delta confused.

"I live in the water. The entrance to my home is through the water."

Mira got on her knees, "Wait, are you a mermaid!?" Delta smiled brightly and nodded. "But how can I go? I'm not a mermaid, I won't be able to hold my breath for long."

Delta smiled, " You won't have to hold your breath for long." Mira was getting even more confused.

But in the end she gave up trying to understand. "Okay, let's go!" Delta jumped happily and reached out her hand towards Mira, who without hesitation took it.

They both started making their way into the water. Mira shivered as the cold water touched her feet. Delta smiled, she put her hand into the water and closed her eyes. After a few seconds the water became warm. Mira looked at Delta in awe,and all Delta did was smile at her.

They were finally chest deep. "Are you ready?" Delta asked, Mira nodded. Delta held onto her hand strongly, and they both dived into the water. The water soon became clear around Mira,  and she saw Delta's beautiful white tail. Delta's white hair started glowing and it danced around her head. Mira couldn't remember if she saw something as equally as beautiful as Delta.

They smiled at each other and began to swim towards a cave, a couple miles deep down. When they were half way down, Mira started coughing not able to hold her breath any longer.

Delta swam up to her, taking her into her arms. She placed her lips onto Mira's. Mira closed her eyes, feeling a beautiful sensation filling her body. When Delta parted, Mira was fine and able to breath under the water. She looked shockingly at Delta, who smiled at her playfully.

She grabbed Mira's hand and continued towards the cave. After a few minutes, a light appeared. Breaking out of the water, Mira blinked her eyes to take in the beautiful sight she saw.

Merpeople were everywhere. It was magical, everything looked unreal. "We have to swim through there to get to the palace." Delta pointed to water tunnel that disappeared into the ground. She grabbed Mira and swam into the tunnel.

They swam a little longer until they arrived at a small cave. Delta got out and helped Mira. She ran behind some rocks and pulled out something to wear. And grabbed Mira and ran through a narrow hallway with stairs.

When Delta reaches the top, she slowly opens the door to make sure the coast was clear. When she felt it was safe, she ran to her right, hand in hand with Mira. Finally, they reached Delta's room.

When they were inside Delta got the bath ready for Mira. Calling her over, Delta helped her remove her wet clothes. Goosebumps started forming all over her body, as the cold air hit her skin. Delta helped her in the big tub and looked at Mira.

"Can I join you?"
