Let's Make a Wish

When Delta and Mira finished their dinner, they excused themselves from the table. Delta always held Mira’s hand, no matter where they went. Deep down, Delta was just scared that Mira would leave without saying goodbye. 

When they reached the room, Delta went to her closet and got some warm clothes out, handing them to Mira. “Change to these.” Delta went and got some for herself. 

“What’s this for?” Mira asked.

“We need some fresh air. So, I was thinking we should go to the shore.” Delta smiled at her. 

“Isn’t dangerous? It’s already late.” 

“Don’t worry, I know a secret place where no one goes to. It’s the safest place in the whole world.” Delta giggled as she said it. Mira smiled widely and got dressed. 

When they finished getting ready, they sneaked out quietly. They reached the cave and dove into the pool that leads outside. 

When they were already outside they got out and walked for sometime before getting to their destination. Delta held onto Mira tightly so she wouldn’t get lost or fall. When they got to where they need to get, Delta moved some vines out of the way and walked into the cave. 

They climbed up for awhile. When they got to the top, Mira was left speechless. She didn’t know that the night sky could be so beautiful. She could see every single star shine, and the way the moon glistened, the breeze was warm and nice. 

Instead of admiring the beautiful night sky, Delta admired Mira’s reaction. Everything about her is beautiful. Her long black hair, her eyes, her red lips, the way she smiled whenever she would see something she likes. To Delta, Mira was the most perfect person in the whole world. 

Mira turned and got caught in Delta’s eyes. “What are you looking at?” She teased. 

“The most beautiful and perfect being I have ever seen.” Delta closed the gap between them and kissed Mira. Mira wrapped her arms Delta’s neck and deepened the kiss. The passion of the night started heating them up quickly.
