Aria's POV
“Here we are,” I said, trying my best to sound casual as we walked to the VIP diner.
My parents were already seated, their faces as welcoming as a tax audit— faces I'd not seen in years.
Kendrick bowed slightly greeting them— my all polite professor. I just gave them a flat, “Bonjour.”
The breakfast spread was lavish. Truffle oil on everything, caviar shining like tiny black jewels, pastries that probably cost more than the country's minimum wage. It was all so… them.
We sat— the place was quiet yet I could feel the weight of unspoken words and years of neglect hanging in the air.
I picked at my croissant, the buttery flakes weren't even helping my stomach.
“Aria,” my father began, his voice sounding all business, “after this semester, you'll be relocating to France to finish your studies.”
My fork dropped on my plate. “What?”
“It's been arranged,” my mother added, her voice spelled sophistication. “We believe it's time you returned home.”
“Home?” I scoffed, the word tasted like ash.
“You've never even been around… why start now?”
My father squinted. “Don't speak to us with such disrespect, especially in front of professor Kendrick.”
Kendrick a hand found my thigh under the table— slow yet deliberate… they felt like a silent promise. It was my only warmth in the room.
His fingers started massaging slowly, working their way up my inner thigh. I wasn't wearing any panties— a reckless decision that was now my only anchor.
His touch became daring, his fingers slipping between my folds— I bit my lip, fighting back a moan.
“Dad, please,” I pleaded, trying to keep my voice steady as Kendrick fingers worked their magic.
“I want to finish my final year in California. I'm doing well there and I love my life.”
He gave a cruel smile— a knowing twist on his lips. “I was expecting this.”
“That's why we invited professor Kendrick,” my mother continued. “The school dean highly recommended him as the best candidate to tutor you personally, and ensure your well-being.”
My head swelled— they'd planned this. Every angle was properly covered. I turned to Kendrick, a silent question in my eyes.
“Please, professor,” I purred, the word laced with desperate hope.
“Say you'll do it. Be my tutor and my guardian…”
He seemed to hesitate for a while. His eyes moving between my parents and me— the tension in the room was choking.
“If it's what you wish, Aria, I accept.” He finally nodded.
Relief washed over me, but it didn't last long. Under the table, my fingers found the hard ridge of his f**k. He took in a sharp breath as I rubbed him slowly.
My hands went up and down his c**k as his hand also pumped in and out of my p***y. I felt a knot in my stomach…
I needed to get out of here.
“Excuse me,” I said, my voice a little breathless. “I need to use the restroom.”
I practically ran, the urge to release was so overwhelming. A few minutes later, I heard a knock.
“Just taking a call,” Kendrick said as he smoothly slid inside.
The door had barely closed before I was on him, my mouth crashed against his.
“f**k, Aria,” he groaned, his hands gripping my ass as he pulled me tight against his hard-on.
“Now,” I demanded, my voice a ragged whisper.
“I need you inside me, now.”
He didn't need to be told twice, his fingers found my c**t. He teasingly drew imaginary circles on it— driving me insane.
I moaned loud— thank goodness this place was sound proof.
“Please,. Kendrick,” I begged, my body arching into his touch. “I'm going to… I'm going to…”
He plunged his fingers deep inside me, and I came. The raw orgasms left me weak and trembling— he didn't end there, he pulled my dress up wrapping it around my waist, and bent me over the sink.
“Baby, you're so wet,” he growled… voice thick with lust.
He spread my cheeks and shoved inside me, completely filling me. I gasped, my nails pressed firmly on the sink as he started pumping slow and deep— each thrust sent waves of pleasure through me.
“Yes,” I moaned, throwing my head back. “f**k me, Kendrick. f**k me like you mean it.”
He did just that, pounding into me— his rhythm relentlessly and breath hot against my neck.
I came again, this time it was harder. My body convulsed around him. But he kept going, driving me higher and higher until I thought I was going to collapse.
Finally, he let out a deep groan and unloaded inside me— I felt his body shuddering. We stood breathless and panting— the only sound was our ragged breathing.
We dressed up and returned to the diner, trying to look composed but between ourselves, we knew we both looked wrecked.
“Took you long enough,” Mom said. I just gave her a flat smile.
Just as I was about to sit, a girl jumped on Kendrick, her arms wrapped around him.
“Baby!” She squealed, kissing him on the lips.
I froze.
“Oh, hi!” She turned to me with a bright, fake smile.
“Dearest cousin, I see you've met my man already…”
“Your man?”
“Yeah… I'm his fiancée”
The world suddenly tilted, my heart stopped as my breath caught in my throat.
“I never knew you're the same Kendrick my niece has been bragging about.” My mother added.
“Of course he is aunty… I mean, can I go for someone who doesn't match my lifestyle?” she eyed me secretly.
“Woah… he's also Ari's professor.” My dad smiled.
“Such a small world.” Sonia beamed.
“Oh… Aria, we're getting married next month! You're going to be my maid of honor.” She gushed, her eyes sparkled with malicious glee.
So this's it… my cousin, Sonia. The girl I hated so much for being part of the reason my parents left me— she's Kendrick's fiancèe.
The blood drained from my face— I stumbled back, my legs weak. I'd been sleeping with her fiancè.
“I need to breathe.” I turned and ran blindly, back to our suite. I needed this to get away, to escape the crushing weight of betrayal.
“Aria, wait! Let me explain.” He followed me, bursting through the door— he looked panicked but I really don't give a f**k right now.
“Explain?” I let out a hollow, broken laugh
“Explain what? That you've been lying to me?”
“I was going to tell you,” he said, his voice pleading. “I swear. I just… I didn't know Sonia was your cousin. It's a coincidence, I promise.”
“A coincidence?” I spat. “That you're engaged to my cousin? That you've been f*****g me behind her back? That you let me continue this God forsaken relationship when you were engaged to be married all along?”
He flinched. “It's not like that, Aria. I care about you.”
“Care?” I screamed. “Is that what you call this? Because I call it a f*****g joke.”
Tears fell freely down my face— I felt raw, exposed, every lie, every secret, every betrayal was carved into my skin.
“Now I understand,” I said, my voice trembling but firm. “It was just about s*x… it was all a f*****g game go you.”
“I had my fun, we both enjoyed it— I won't bug you neither will I fight with my cousin over a man. Especially now you.”
I looked at him— really looked at him and saw nothing but a cold, empty shell. The man I thought I knew, the man I thought I'd loved, he was a figment of my imagination.
“You see this?” I said, gesturing between us. “It's over. We're done!”
“The s*x, the deal with my parents… I'll call it off. Good bye to you too!”
I turned a
nd walked away, leaving him standing there— I had nothing left to say, nothing to feel. Except for cold and hard certainty, I was finally… truly alone.
