Aria's POV
“Guys take your seat, Kendrick's coming,” our class rep announced.
My pulse jumped.
It's been a week since that s**t happened and I'd been carefully avoiding him. During class, I'd sit like a ghost, I'd disappear as soon as he ended the class because if anything should bring us closer again— then I'm not sure I'd be able to walk away again.
But that didn't mean I'd stopped wanting him, I still do and I still hate myself for that.
I dropped my pencil and pushed my glasses up then buried my eyes in my sketchpad.
I could hear his shoes as they tapped into the class.
“Good morning, everyone.”
I didn't look up, I just kept drawing— shading a line I'd already shaded ten times.
I could feel his eyes scanning the room then paused on me.
‘Please turn away, don't call my name’
“Aria.”
I jerked— it's a girl behind me.
“Help pass this to the front, please”
I slowly reached out to grab the books with sweaty palms. Kendrick was right there at the front— I was careful enough not to meet his eyes, my eyes fixed on the table.
“Aria.” His voice called out and I froze.
“Do you mind answering the question on the board?”
My stomach dropped… f**k!
“Uhm…” I walked to the board still fidgeting. I grabbed the nearest marker and wrote what I hoped was the correct answer.
I could feel the heat from his body. He stood behind me— too close. Everything he did started rushing back to me— how he grabbed my hair while f*****g my throat. I squeezed my thighs tighter, blinking fast to keep tears from falling.
“Correct.” He said quietly, his voice flat.
I quickly dropped the marker and rushed to my seat without looking back.
When the class ended, I'd started zipping my bag already as he gathered his materials.
“Don't forget next week's submission—” he said.
I was already heading to the door hiding in the crowd.
“Aria.”
I heard him call but I pretended not to hear and walked faster.
****
The drawing studio was usually quiet during recess. I needed to breathe so I came here to sketch and pretend like the world didn't exist.
I was nearly done with a messy charcoal portrait when I heard the door open.
My heart skipped when I heard the all too familiar footsteps.
I looked up and indeed, it was Kendrick.
His eyes widened a little like he didn't expect to see me here either. I stood fast, grabbed my bag.
“I was just leaving—”
He stepped in. “Don't go.”
I stood still, fastening my grip on my strap.
“I didn't know anyone was in here,” he said, shutting the door behind him.
“Well, I am,” I whispered
“So I'll leave.”
“Aria— please.”
He took a step closer but I quickly moved back, bumping into a table. My chest rose and fell fast— I hated the effect he had over me.
“Look, about the other day— didn't mean for things to go too far,” he said quietly.
“I lost control.”
“You lost control?” I laughed bitterly.
“Kendrick, you spat in my face and I disgusted you.”
He looked at his toes like the memory haunted him. “I haven't slept well since that day”
I swallowed. “That's because you don't deserve a good sleep.”
He looked up again. “Look, I was angry at myself. And you were… there. You have me an opening and I f****d it up— my personal issues got the best me”
I felt my eyes sting. “Do you even know how long I've hoped for that moment? How long I've wanted you.”
Although I didn't mean to say it, it just slipped out.
“Every single time I stayed up late sketching, every time I touched myself, it was you. I thought you'd be gentle, I thought you'd see me… not use me like other guys.”
His jaw clenched. He looked like he was holding back a hundred words.
“I thought maybe— just maybe— I wasn't invisible to someone for once. But you only scared me— do you really hate me that much?”
Tears rolled down my face.
He moved closer but this time, I didn't move.
“I don't hate you,” he said
I shook my head.
“You called me spoiled. Said I was just another brat with Daddy issues.”
“I was angry,” he said
“I hated the fact that I also had nasty feelings about my own student— I mean, it's not right. I have no right to feel that way—”
“Aren't we all humans?”
His arms came around me, gently this time.
I didn't fight it, I just cried into his chest. His hands stroked my back— my face buried in his neck.
He smelled enticing— like ink and Cologne.
His lips slightly brushed my forehead and he stiffened for a moment.
But he did stop there, he went lower until he reached my chin. His lips gently crashed against mine—
Brrring!
The recess time out bell.
Soon voices of students coming to the studio filled the air— I stepped back.
“I have class,” he muttered.
I nodded, my face still wet.
He opened the door and I slipped past him.
Something had definitely changed between us.
****
After that day, everything became worse. Or should I say better… or maybe both.
Class just ended and I was heading to the washroom when a hand suddenly pulled me into the supply closet.
I gasped when I realized it was Kendrick. He shoved me against the wall, gently.
“Had a wonderful day?” He whispered against my neck.
“This won't change anything, Kendrick.” I moaned
“You can't say yet”
His lips met mine. The crash was hot and messy.
He pulled my top down and sucked my t**s like he'd missed them. My back arched.
His fingers found their way to my opening— he slid two, then three.
I gasped.
“You're wet…” he growled
“What do you think?” I smiled
“You're f*****g addicted.”
“I hate you,” I breathed.
“No, you don't.”
I dropped to my knees, took his length in my mouth and started sucking like my life depended on it. This time, he didn't force it— I took it down on my own.
“Good girl,” he muttered.
“Look at you drooling over it.”
I gagged as I kept going. He grabbed my hair, holding it tight.
He pulled me up and bent me over the tiny metal shelf. My skirt went up and his c**k slid into me.
“f**k— yes!” I moaned, biting my arm to keep quiet.
He slammed in hard and my boobs kept bouncing off the shelf.
“Harder… please don't stop…” I begged.
It's funny how what I'm moaning now reminded me of the first time with him.
He wrapped his huge hand around my neck from behind, f*****g deeper and grinding against my c**t until I trembled.
“Go on baby, take every inch,” he hissed
“You want it, don't you?”
“Yes! God— yes!”
He pulled out, turned me around and jacked me up. My legs wrapped around his waist as his c**k shoved back inside me— slamming against my wall.
“I'll ruin you again and again,” he groaned.
His lips were quick to find my n*****s, he sucked them hard and bit gently.
I gasped as my body vibrated in response.
We came at the same time— hard. His moans hitting my neck.
I was still shaking in his arms— trying to steady my breath.
After a few minutes, he zipped up and also helped me fix my clothes and messy hair.
“See you in class,” he muttered, walking out first.
I stayed a bit longer, trying to steady my heart beat.
****
My driver had already arrived so I was going to meet him at the lot when Dylan suddenly blocked my path.
“Get out…” I said flatly
“Hey… you've been acting differently and I've been hearing things.”
“Well, I can't stop you from hearing things— can I?”
“What's going on between you and Kendrick?”
I shot him a death glare.
“Stay out of my business.”
I tried to walk past but he grabbed my arm. “Are you f*****g that old hag?”
I didn't answer.
“You—” he paused
I guess he got his answer and quickly let go.
I walked away.
Not like he cared about me in the first place so why's he acting up all of a sudden?
