I have thought of dozens of reasons to jump and run in the opposite direction.. Like, “Why on earth am I saving this girl who probably is secretly seducing my mate behind my back?” or “Why do I need to care about her?” And even, “I do not even know this girl, I should just leave her to fight for herself because she is obviously capable!”
But.. there is only one reason that made me stay and hold Joha’s furs..
It was simply because my mate wanted to save her..
It hurts but that itself makes sense. If someone was there for me when Johanis wasn't around, I would also totally save that person.
I always put myself in the other person’s point of view.. to the point that sometimes I overlook and forget my own pain too.
