Zo sat alone in her cabin. It seemed that Elly had stopped here briefly before meeting her at Daniel"s house. To her surprise, when she had walked through the door, she had found a fresh set of clothes awaiting her, placed where she could not fail to see them. Almost as if acknowledging her fate, once having seen to all she had needed to, she had autonomously changed into them. Sitting there now, she realised the place had never seemed so cold and empty. Even before she had met Acha, and Daniel was at college, it had never seemed so desolate. Her home had always been a place that welcomed her.
