Kerry exited the elevator on the twentieth floor and headed toward the executive offices for Phantoms. Inside the suite, the secretary waved her back, too busy fielding calls to chat. Kerry passed through the glass doors and down the hall toward the large conference room, determined to shake off the effects of last night. God, she was anxious to see everyone again after the five-week holiday break, and excited to start a new year of investigations.
