Jed was a few meters away from the seashore, hiding behind the old tree. He saw how happy they were, and how close they were to each other, especially Yin and Czarina. He admitted to himself he felt envious; he never grew up in such an environment. All he knew was hatred; hatred to the royals, hatred to the people of the kingdom and hatred to his ancestors for being greedy and violent. Their region faced discrimination and they were an outcast because of the past, and he blamed his ancestors for that.
He stared at Czarina. She was full of life and positive aura. She looked radiant and cheerful even in difficult times. He wanted to approach her and be close to her, but he knew he could not do it because he is a Nedos. No one would make friends from the clan of traitors and greedy people. H
