Stephanie ignored the knock until it sounded three more times. Her lips curved slightly when she opened the door, and a concerned character embraced her.
"Oh Stephania, I thought you had died." Suri was overly sensitive, to the point of tears. It took the one who stood at risk of being murdered to calm her down.
"As you can see, I'm still here," Stephanie teased, giving her a pinch on the cheek. She knew that to be Suri's language of endearment - the girl barely went a day without nudging or pinching Stephanie somewhere on the face.
