Chapter 7

The kidnap

Carena had called the police authorities, she wondered that she had just returned from a business trip only to see her sister Gabrielle dead in cold blood, the policemen cleared up the death scene but Carena cried so bitterly and she was in pain that she couldn't allow the policemen do their Job. One of the head detectives Andrew tried calming her down saying; I am into this case ma and I am going to find whoever Did this to your sister.

Carena was still suffering from her sister's death emotionally. she said angrily whoever Did this to my sister will pay dearly a very high price I promise, she then remembered once more, when they both had fun and played together when Gabrielle and Carena were still kids, Carena wanted to give Gabrielle a very big hug and talk a lot with her when she got back, she missed and cared for her step sister Gabrielle so much and she was the only family she had after the death of her parents.

In the dimly lit alleys of the city, Isabella paced, Isabella went to her house, her heart pounding with fear due to her being chased by Johnson (Lord Scorpio's right-hand man). Isabella immediately ran as fast as she could while Johnson was still shooting, she eventually got away from him and she got home, but she couldn't find her father nor Josephine her new maid.

Isabella was looking so shocked she couldn't concentrate properly, the thought of losing her father drove her crazy, and the night air was thick with tension as she then received a chilling message from her boss, Lord Scorpio, He told her that he had her father and her maid that she should come to get them she should not involve the police before he blows up her father's head.

The perpetrator was none other than Josephine, a menacing figure in the drug lord's organization, she works for Lord Scorpio and Enzo.

Josephine was ordered to watch Isabella and the best way of doing that is by getting close to Isabella by being her maid to know her weakness, Desperation is etched across Isabella's face.

When Isabella got there she hesitated for a moment, she saw Enzo her ex-boyfriend, and Josephine her maid. Isabella couldn't believe her eyes it looked like a crazy dream to her, she trusted both of them with her heart. She was already developing feelings for Enzo she thought Enzo was a nice man. Isabella then turned to her right and saw her sick father being tied up tightly in a pillar, Then a sudden blow from nowhere hit Isabella and she fainted.

Isabella woke up, everything looked blurred in her eyes and she was tied up in a pillar, she thought that her loyalty to her family meant a lot to her and she had vowed never to engage in the dangerous world of criminality.

Isabella Saw that her Dad was distanced away from her and was also tied up. Miguel was looking very uncomfortable saying weakly; my daughter this is the end Isabella replied; I am very sorry Dad I have failed you and my mom, I have been a very bad child, Dad please forgive me Dad I have failed you, Dad told her; my child it is not your fault my dear these men took advantage of you.

Lord Scorpio walked into the room where they were kept, he had a sinister motive – he wanted Isabella to provide him with a valuable, he wanted her body since she had known his secret dealings in exchange for her father's safety. Isabella's spat on his face, Lord Scorpio got furious then he ordered Enzo to amputate her father's leg in front of her.

Isabella screamed loud stop! I will give you what you want but please spare my father, Miguel said to her don't give him what he wants, I would rather die than see my daughter suffer in this way.

Please leave my father out of this, This is between me and you Boss I beg of you to spare my Dad he is the only one I have, Josephine then gave Isabella a dirty slap and told her to shut up! Lord Scorpio never cared less he winked his eyes and Enzo amputated his legs slowly in front of Isabella.

Isabella's Dad is now disabled and bleeding, Lord Scorpio getting closer to Isabella as she was shading more and more tears, he said loudly; now you should know I am not Joking around, you had the mind to throw my package away you threw my money away you are gonna pay dearly trust me no one messes with my money no one!.

Isabella shed more and more tears she couldn't stand them torturing her Father in front of her. Isabella grappled with the dilemma of whether to give Lord Scorpio her body, but Lord Scorpio did not care he ripped off Isabella's clothes and he called Enzo and Johnson to have fun with her.

She was unaware of the dark secrets that lurked beneath seemingly ordinary lives. Isabella's mind raced as she got the consequences of being too naive and involving herself in illegal activity.

Fear and uncertainty won, and she chose to co-operate with Lord Scorpio, she gave them her body, determined to face Lord Scorpio on her terms.

Meanwhile, Detective Andrew, a seasoned investigator with a reputation for solving complex cases, was hot on Gabriella’s trial. Andrew had been monitoring the drug lord's activities for months, and the kidnapping added a personal dimension to the case.

Unbeknownst to Isabella, he found out That she was kidnapped he was working tirelessly to rescue the victim and bring Lord Scorpio to justice.

Andrew called for backups immediately after he noticed the location of the victim. Meanwhile, Isabella’s Dad was bleeding seriously and he needed medical attention.

Andrew Men entered the building and there was a bloody shootout, Lord Scorpio and Enzo heard the noise and Lord Scorpio immediately ordered Johnson to slice Miguel's head thinking Isabella had gone beyond their agreement that she must not involve the police.

Isabella knelt crying beside her dead father his legs amputated and his neck sliced with a knife.
