It's Christmas. She still didn't wake up. I'm losing my patience. Capo keeps coming to check if everything is fine but nothing changes. Nothing is fine without her.
My eyes are red and I'm tired. I'm sitting on the ground, outside of her room again because I already have enough of chairs. I don't know in what position I should sit anymore. I can’t stand seeing her like that anymore.
Everything seems the same, so odd and boring. Only now I get to realize how much joy she brought into my life. How much she changed and made me realize. That's something I'll be forever thankful for.
The nurse that keeps checking on Lucille gets out of the room and looks at me with a smile. I look up at her and lean my head back against the wall.
“She woke up!” she smiles brightly with her teeth.
