CHANGES UNCHANGE

“Hello?” without looking at the name of my caller, I answered the call. This person should give me good news because I’m already in my bad state.

“ELEVEN! HEY! Are you there?”

‘f**k. Sebastian again! I don’t wanna talk to him right now but he doesn’t think that way so to stop his nonsense,

“Sebastian, you know what? I am pissed with you right now! Why do you make me feel different?”

“What are you talking about? Didn’t I tell you to stay with me? Now where are you?”

He sounded serious and back to his notorious personality. As for me, It would be better to let him be alone and he shouldn’t meddle with my problem anymore.

“I- uhm, I am just outside. I didn’t go home okay? It’s just that, you are injured and that I felt like it was my fault. Don’t you think you’ve done enough? Can you just leave me alone? I mean, I’m already grateful t–”

“No, no, not that. I am known to this field Eleven! so whether I help you or other people, It’s already there; the threats, the possibilities of getting injured or being killed but I chose to help and I am choosing to help you.”

I am lost for words. I don’t want him to hear my small sobs because of what he said. Why off all people, why it has to be sebastian? He has a reputation and being linked with me will endanger him. Who knows what the royalties will do?

I gathered all my energy just to conceal my sad voice as I will mess everything up again if I chose my heart over my mind.

“Seb, I know you want to help but spare me with that pity act! I am really grateful for everything but it should end here. We shouldn't have met in the first place. Bye Seb! Take care always!”

I put my phone back in my pocket and drove my car home. I need to talk to the Queen and King if I want to live in peace.

The mirror! where did I put it again? I’m spacing out every second. I even forgot what I needed to do first, so what the heck is this feeling like I’m more broken than the break up thing with my ex Rylo. Explain yourself Eleven Shear! Tsk!

Knock! knock! knock!

Who was that? Seb? Oh no! I should have just packed my things and moved to an apartment!

The knock on my door keeps going like he wants to get punched! thinking it was Seb, though I know he's in the hospital but after what I said he might push himself or not.

I hurriedly opened my door but I got distracted when I saw my mirror that was now hanging on my wall and upon seeing my reflection, it stopped me for a moment but I'm quite sure I decided to feign ignorance and chose to open the door.

The thing now is, I shouldn’t open it because it turned out it wasn’t him.

Forgetting the slight tinged in my heart, I got glued to where I am standing.

‘Who would not? standing in front of me is my supposedly dead ex-boyfriend;

“RYLO?!”

I scanned his features if I was just hallucinating or stressed but it was him!

"HI My lovely girlfriend?”

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HI? WHAT HAPPENED? AND YOU ARE ALIVE?!”

I know that I should be glad he wasn’t dead and issues and speculations involving my name will be cleared now but I felt uneasy about his sudden appearance. There’s something with this RYLO in front of me and I will figure that out.

“Hey! Can I come in? I know how shocked you are right now and we have a lot to talk about right?”

Convincing myself that he had a point, I showed him inside and he just let himself sit on my small sofa like it was his first time and yeah right it was his first time here so how the hell did he know where I live?

"I don’t have wine here or something and if you forget why, I’ll tell you; I’m poor!”

I saw him smile and look at me with his eyes looking apologetically. That won’t work with me so he shouldn’t bother. He stood from his seat and went to where I was standing which shocked me because of the unexpected hug from him. What is it again?

“Hey! Let me go, I can't breathe!”

"Oh sorry! I just missed you. But first, hear me out please! Eleven, I am really sorry for every ruckus you have faced. I am alive and kicking as you can see. They have wronged you! I can’t accept your break up message so–”

"So you pretend to be dead hah?! Am I right? Or there’s more of it?! more of your lies! why do you need to involve me about your shits hah?! It’s too much to take, you know!”

I distanced myself to him and using my hand, I quickly wiped my tears running down my cheeks but I failed. It still keeps on falling like the pain and everything that happened piled up and it broke out.

"Eleven it’s not what you think, okay? Hey babe! Please come back to me! we need to clear your name so I am here and can you be honest with me? what’s your relationship with the most known troublemaker lawyer; SEBASTIAN?! I won’t get mad, just tell me what he did to get close to you?”

Trying to absorb his pointless statements, all I get is that I can’t believe he was my boyfriend before that he was a pathetically stupid kind of jerk. He wasn’t even kind!

“I f*****g CAN’T BELIEVE YOU RYLO! Instead of atoning for what you just did but instead, you are involving other people and that is how low you are now! You being alive can’t even make me feel a tiny bit happy! you want to know why there is sebastian? Why do you even care? It’s been a month now! we broke up! you wreck me"

Rylo just bowed his head and silently listened for every damn word I hit him!

“He was the one clearing my name while you are the one who ‘caused the stains! Don’t ever talk about what happened because if you really want to know what happened? Then think again! Think again how you made it happen!”

He raised his head and looked at me with his puffed eyes like he cried a while ago as if I really cared! nah.

“I will come back here and ask for forgiveness. Please give me a chance! I have always loved you and I’m sorry for what I’ve said earlier. I understand now! Hmm? Please babe?”

“Stop calling me that. We are already done! Please, leave now! Forget everything because I had already moved on from you! The things that happened helped me to find myself again. Perhaps in this lifetime it’s better we never cross paths. BYE!”

I push him outside my door even if he wants to argue but he knows better that I'll win so all I’ve seen is his back facing me and it looks like I'd better be alone.

‘Maybe meeting you RYLO and also SEBASTIAN is my greatest downfall. With that said, I know that meeting the Queen and King is a must to prioritize those unwanted people in my crazy life.

Getting myself properly dressed and I simply style my lengthy hair in a bomb clip look. I now presently amazingly look like a beautiful princess ready to meet her prince. LOL!

“Hi, your majesty! may I have a small talk with the both of you if it’s not too much of a request.”

Being here in the modern republic castle shakes every blood circulating my system and I can’t completely adjust. So I am not really a qualified human being to be born as one of the royalties? Right? make sense.

The royalty family welcomed me and the thing here is everyone has scrutinizing eyes however, the king and queen let me inside. Well what can I say? Too much of their obsession will surely hunt them that will possibly lead them to their nightmare or it was just me having a mindset of a cursed witch lol.
