Unexpected night.

(Eleanor P.O.V)

Waking up this morning felt amazing.

I woke up to feel the covers getting trapped near my feet to see a sleeping Gray. He's so sweet when asleep. He must've been tired. He didn't move when I got my spare cover to put over him. I couldn't help but bring my pillow to bottom with him.

He even moved his arm to wrap around my waist!! I still can't wipe the smile off my face.

We are currently all sat in a circle on my floor. I'm leant against Grays side with my back to him. He has his arm across my arms/ chest area. I keep leaning my head on him. He's so snuggly.

Alec found out about how much I love poker so him me Ethan, Noah and Gray are all playing. It's only Alec and I left in this round. The others folded when they found out how good I am.

He is determined to win! Sucks to be him I know what cards he has. Hehe!

We lay our cards down.

His face. Is. Priceless. I burst out laughing at him.

"Oh come on! I totally had you! This is unfair! No! Deal them again! No. You cheated! I will deal them!" He paced across the room.

"Haha! Dude she's done you! Finally you've been put in your place! Well Done Eleanor!" Ethan high fived me.

I can't help but think of my Mum. All them days and nights we spent playing game after game of poker. All the laughs we had. All the tears we shed with laughing so hard. I can feel the tears come into my eyes. I felt a kiss on top of my head, I looked up to see Gray looking down at me. I give him a smile and snuggle more into him. Just like that he makes my thoughts into

happier ones.

These people have started to become my family. I love them. Even Ethan and Noah I've grown close to. Since the Maths Project started we're getting really well.

Six games later Alec storms out with Ethan and Noah laughing their way following him. They send me waves as they exit.

I get up off Gray to stand up.

"You coming?"

"Where we going? You know I'll follow wherever you go?"

I grab his hand then pull him up to the roof. I stand on the edge. As soon as I hear his voice asking what I'm doing. I turn to him with a big smile.

"What?" He copies my smile.

I slowly make my way to him without moving my eyes from his. I get on my tiptoes then I press my lips against his, my eyes automatically closing. I'm not waiting for my Prince Charming to come to me like they do in fairy tales.

He freezes and for a second I wonder if I should pull back but then he puts pressure on my lips. He's kissing me back! The kiss soon turns more passionate. He has his arms wrapped around me while my are climbing up his chest to rest at the back of his head.

This is a perfect first kiss.

(Grayson P.O.V)

She smiles at me like she knows something I don't.

"What?" I question her with a smile on my face. She approaches me while her mesmerising eyes are looking deeply into mine. As she steps towards me I can feel the heat off her body against mine. How her hands find my chest. I'm so intoxicated with her that it takes me time to realise what's happening.

Eleanor is kissing me. On the lips. Me.

I never thought I'd be able to kiss her.

Nevermind that she makes the first move!

I never want this to stop.

I wrap my arms around her back bringing her closer to me. She's definitely my girl after this.

As we pull away she flutters her eyes open then looks up at me. I can't help myself when I kiss her nose. She grins at me so wide that her whole face lights up. If I don't ask her now I don't think I'll ever find the courage too.

"Eleanor Diaz, after that amazing mind blowing kiss. The late night trips up here. The picnic. Then the morning I woke up to you cuddled up to me in bed. Will you please be my girlfriend?"

She launches herself at me, her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist. I laugh as I balance us with the momentum she used to jump on me. She hides her face in my neck. I can feel her breath as she whispered to me

"I would be honoured to be your girlfriend".

Tonight was unexpected to say the least.

I'm so happy.
