Thomas was a patient beast, patient because over a week married he never once requested for his married man rights and a beast because most of the time he was the rudest person on Earth. _You will spend the day with me today, get ready cause we have a visit to make_ he said briefly and left the room. _A visit?_ she just asked herself_ Visit who? This was his late behavior, he just popped the news drastically and left, without a simple explanation. The day after she arrived, her new personal stylist showed up to teach her how to dress properly, when she saw the girl she had to hit herself to see if she wasn't dreaming, she scared the s**t out of her employees by doing that. But thanks to Sara now she knew how to dress elegantly, so she decided to wear a formal baby blue pencil dress, along a small pew bow with her hair up and nude shoes. The makeup was minimalist just like the jewelry. When you are rich you learn that less is more. _ Am I okay?_ she asked innocently getting downstairs. _Perfect!_ he said admiring her body in that dress, it was classy but sexy at the same time_ Better impossible. _You could at least start telling where are we going. _You don't need to know anything, just behave yourself as the perfect wife you are not. She did not reply, and honestly, she wouldn't ever. Joalin took very seriously Lucas advice to not irritate Thomas, besides that, the night he took them he showed her how aggressive he can be. He really wanted a family, but his idea of a family was somehow twisted, he wanted children to love him and love back, but the wife would only serve to warm his bed and take care of the children, but not to love and cherish. The travel wasn't exhaustive, it was very relaxing and the view took her attention once again. _An orphanage?_ Joalin asked shocked as they arrived. _I’m one of the main sponsors of this place, so I have to visit them at least once a month to see if my money is been spent on the kids only, I not going spend my precious money on some lazy motherfuckers. _Its very nice of you_ she said complimenting him. _Was that a compliment? _Well..._ she got nervous_ You are helping children, I wished somebody helped me when I was a child so I wouldn't have to grow up with a messed up mom. _Tell me about it..._ he whispered but she managed to listen_ Let's go and prepared yourself for a bunch of needy orphans. The orphanage manager came running to receive the couple and greeted Joalin with a warm hug. Joalin felt so cherished, never in her life she got a hug like this. _Welcome my dear_ the nun said with a bright smile_ Come with me, the children are all waiting for you_ she said guiding them inside the place. They got inside the patio and found children from five to sixteen years old, the babies where inside in a separated area. They were formed in two lines and waived happily at the man who kept them safe, fed and happy. Thomas paid for a high educational program for his orphans, so by the time they reached adulthood they were able to apply for scholarship and have a good future. The orphanage had qualified doctors to attend the children, caretakers, teachers and the nuns to supervise them. Boys and girls were kept separated since they had a teenage pregnancy case and the dorms were organized by age. _Sir, the last donation you made helped us build another facility for storage and another room. Thank you as always, God will give you back. _Its my pleasure. _How many kids do you have in her sister?_ Joalin felt free to ask. _Right now we had a total of fifty six children, counting from babies to teenagers. _Wow, that's a lot... _Some of them actually have parents, but we're abused so we keep them until the state decides what to do or someone adopts them, but the number of people wanting to Foster or adopt kids is decreasing. _I've talked to some people about that!_ Thomas said patiently_ Maybe a lit bit of publicity can encourage people to enlarge their families. _Oh sir, you are doing so much for these children I don't even know what to say_ he just smiled_ Please come to see the babies and later we can sit the children. The nursery had five babies and two caretakers for them. There was a newborn giggling and Joalin instinctively walked to him. _Oh darling_ the nurse followed her_ This poor one came yesterday after staying two days in the hospital, he was found in an abandoned container_ the nun said shocking the couple. _Oh my God_ Joalin gasped and started cleaning her tears as they felt for this innocent baby_ He is so beautiful_ she gave the baby her finger and he tried to suck it. _Here, hold him!_ suddenly the nun took the baby off the crib and gave it to Joalin to hold_ Don't be afraid, he is strong. _I’m used to taking care of babies_ she smiled_ What's his name?_ she asked looking from the sister to Thomas who seamed extremely happy. _This one is Nicholas, it means victorious! _He is truly that, aren't you_ she played with him. They spent the day with the kids and even had lunch with them, while Thomas spent most of the time with the teens, Joalin did it with the infants... And they were indeed needy, she felt so bad for them, they wanted hugs and kisses all the time. When it came the time for them to leave she was sobbing and Thomas had to grab her by her arm and take her to the car. _Its okay_ he pat her back_ Some people get this reaction. _One of them called me mama_ she cried_ I feel so bad. _You don't need to feel bad, yes they don't have specifically parents, but I provide them everything they need to have a happy life, so chill. _Okay_ she cleaned her face_ Are we coming back next month?_ he was surprised to see her so attached to the kids, his former partner wanted him to abandon them... _If you want, we can come_ he said receiving a quick hug. She was so emotional that didn't even minded giving him a hug.
